I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The user experience booking a ticket is quite intuitive. For some reason, when comparing prices of flights over the neighboring days, the prices don't always show up in the day boxes, which forces you to look at each day individually. I am using Safari and I haven't been able to understand when these prices show up or don't. Apart from that, very intuitive journey

Flights I was looking for didn’t always appear. When attempting to re-start search, some data would be retained, some not, not clear what I would or wouldn’t have to re-enter. In some strange way I booked myself twice on the same flight. Customer service was not much help. Difficulty getting transaction canceled. Took two weeks to get round trip re-booked.

Ease of res modification and friendly service

I booked travel online and realised I had made an error in my departure date. I couldn’t change the reservation online for whatever reason as it was a changeable ticket. I dreaded calling in because of the usual hold times, getting transferred, etc but I got through immediately. The res agent quickly modified my flight and was very efficient and friendly.

The pet price is more expensive than my own but he get locked up in a crate alone. It used to be half the price, witch was already the price of 3 suitcases, and I though that was fair. I traveled many times with my large dog through air France but at that fee it is probably going to be the last time unfortunately. The service otherwise is always great

One problem I encounter, I go to booking to pull out my reservation, there is no space to put reservation code. It is frustrating. It used to be better, fast and efficient. Now it took me a while to pull out reservation. It seems that AF is going backward. I've been flying with AF for 25 years plus, I find it's more complicated now to use your site.

Good journey

I have already provided feedback on my flights from Washington-Dulles to Bucharest -Romania via Paris. But here it is again: I had a good experience with check-in, security and AF business lounge ( although the latter keeps becoming more crowded every time I fly), and my experience in the Premium Economy class was good. My luggage has safely arrived.

Superb Airline

The flight attendants on all of the Air France flights have been very kind and caring and very service-oriented! The food served on the flight is spectacular and flying in the business class, you are served as though it was a five star restaurant. The aircraft seats are really comfortable and spacious. Flying with Air France is always a pleasure!

Web site crushes many time during booking. Gave me errors multiple times. I had to start over and over again. On the third attemtpt with error the price went up so I abandoned it. Then hours later used my phone again 2 erros, but finaly went throuh with original price. Now I am trying to create account and it still multiplicationing. Very annoying.

The flight attendants barely speaks English, i don't eat meat and she didn't know how to tell me of the meal contains meat or not, she didn't offer any substitute for that, she just left with the cart and moved on to the next passenger, which was really disappointing. Not what I expect from a company and for a flight of 9 hours without normal food!!

Your phone staff is top notch. Always gracious and accommodating. I dislike your dynamic pricing on award flights. Especially this year. The Spring 2025 awards were very difficult to navigate to find an affordable redemption. I know it's about supply and demand, but it's still very tough to find something predictable when planning an award trip.

Frustrated

We found the flight times that matched our schedule perfectly. We tried to purchase them, but an “error occurred, please try again” message popped up. We immediately tried again, but the cost increased by $2,500!!!!! That is VERY disappointing. We purchased them anyway, because the schedule matched perfectly for our needs for our future trip.

Amazing service and excellent effort to resolve a very critical incident

Air France messed up on an incident with my bags and lost the tag but recovered quickly, got me on my way and compensated me generously The flight crew were extremely helpful and supported my needs to the last minute .. despite the scary incident, they were extremely supportive and acknowledged their mistake and made every effort to resolve it

Disapointed

to date I have booked 2 flights with AF since I joined Flying Blue. Our first flight got canceled and we lost 1 night hotel in Paris and 1 day at Disneyland. In my second booking my returned flight was canceled and rebooked at a later hour. Originally I was to return at 3:30pm but now it's at 8:10pm making my very important appointment late.

I like Air France ..they care for their passengers and their belongings.. ONLY ONE BAD EXPERIENCE..my flight from Montreal to Chennai was canceled by you after booking my ticket in December 2023.and I had to incur lot of expenses due this cancelation. I thought they will give us some cancelation charges , but they refunded only our ticket fare.

I was happily on my way to purchase a ticket when I saw this alert that totally confused me. Very bad experience. It made no sense and I had to decide whether to abandon the purchase or not. "your Flying Blue benefits are included in the fares below. Please note that these benefits are not transferable to other passengers in your booking. "

I like and appreciate everything about AF...its website, excellent value for use of award miles ( less than half compared to British Airways...I wish I could transfer BA miles to AF ), no cost seat selection when reservation is first made...with BA you have to pay ), wonderful service...on and off the plane, BA surprisingly has better food .

The way flight prices are posted, showing a price that initially appears to be the round trip fare, only to discover later in the process, the price for departing and returning flights are calculated separately and only combined just as preparing to pay for the flight is deceptive at minimum, and misleading, taking up my time with false hope.

Many of the items in the website don't save properly nor does the site work very well overall. I can't save profiles easily and I often have to do things two or three times to make them work. Pretty poor for such an important airline that we want to support. The service on flights and the staff are wonderful but the website isn't very good.

Happy with our Purchase

On the date of purchase, we were able to purchase our tickets to Spain with very competitive pricing. Although not perfect, our flight departure and arrival times are very close to our desired time frames. We were also able to enter our personal info (passport, known travel number etc) without too much difficulty. Happy with our purchase.
