I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The Air France app was frustrating in booking flights (for me and other friends!) I could see available flights, but had to go to the website to actually book the flights. Only then did they show up on my account in the app. (And the airfares were different prices between the app and website!)

Tried to book two tickets, your system only booked one and then charged me an additional $500 to book the second. Wait time to book the second ticket was 29 minutes phone hold time. Should rate the reservation system with only one star. Hope the flight experience will make up the difference

Inaccurate price option results. It took longer for me to select flights for my roundtrip journey because the date options previewed affordable low fares but when I clicked on the dates those affordable fares did not exist in the results. It was misleading, inaccurate, and frustrating to use.

Dishonest Advertising

It was very frustrating to receive a notification while I was in the midst of purchasing my tickets that the price had risen by $180. I had only been working on it for five minutes, and it made me feel like I'd been lured in by a lower price that I was never going to get in the first place.

I was unable to use any of my three credit cards to book my reservation. I needed to call the credit card companies to obtain a third party verification??? This was very frustrating and I was looking at other airlines when I could not book. So my suggestion is to improve your payment ease

I had a good experience but gave 4 stars because I didn’t receive any receipt after the purchase of the ticket while there was a good amount of difference between the price I saw and the price charged. I don’t mind but I would’ve loved to at least understand where the difference came from.

Website was a little difficult to navigate. I was not able to select the return flight I wanted and the transaction didn't go thru. I had to rebook the entire trip again and select a different return flight. Flight prices were very good and the layover times are not excessively long.

The Air France site is easy to navigate, price tickets, select seats I like the clear choice between Light, Standard and Flex - clearly compared and contrasted The seat selector color coded and legends made it easy to select the right seat I also liked the display of cabin food choices

Website on Chrome wouldn’t display miles calendar. Tried several times. Had to switch to Firefox. Like Southwest no doubt Executives and shareholders are making their millions. But Air France is not updating their software My mileage airfare increased 15,000 miles in 4 days.

It wasn’t the site’s fault, but I had found an attractive promotional fare that disappeared before I could complete the purchase, only to reappear an hour later As for the site, it’s easy to use, but it doublechecks a lot of entries, such as seat selection, which makes it slow.

Air France site is very I tuitive and easy to navigate. Flying Blue’s is clunky.

It took me a while to find out where to book a flying flue reward ticket. On the Flyong Blue page, add a line about that and a link to the site. Also there used to be an estimate of points needed by destination.that was helpful. The booking itself was easy and very intuitive.

Airline crew was very nice and friendly. We were traveling during a difficult time and they helped support us. Food sustainability efforts. Did not like boarding process at CDG, no signs for boarding zones. Everyone randomly starting lining up and there was no orderly process.

Planning a multi-city trip

We are planning a multi-city trip. It was relatively easy to find the different available flights for the times and locations we needed. It was not very easy to go back and forth between seat service level for the different legs of the trip, to check possible pricing options.

Misinformed and uncaring

Good: Short hold and quick response time. Bad: Agent gave me wrong info about bonus miles transfers and promotion program, saying to call Chase. When I called back the next agent quickly rejected my request without empathy and didn’t apologize for the prior misdirection.

Website is a little slow, and needs frequent logins even if I choose “remember me”. One of my itineraries has been cancelled already by the airline, but it still shows up in my trips - sort of a cruel reminder. Please fix this so cancelled trips don’t show up as upcoming trips.

Easy to find and book flight. Clear information on what was and was not included. A little more info on what benefits you would get depending on your Skymiles status that may mean you can book a lower level ticket and still get things like free checked bag would be good.

Easy to make reservations!

The site is working very efficiently—huge improvements from before. I only needed a few minutes to make my reservations, without the system hanging up at all. And the system actually kept the info I enter each time I make reservations, rather than needing to enter it again.

This is my first experience with Air France. I am very much looking forward to my trip. Maybe this survey could be repeated later. Then I could give a more accurate response to what I liked. And what could be better. My rating now is for the ease of finding my flights.

I was traveling with a 2 year old and it was very difficult trying to get seated together. I tried multiple agents and attempts at the counters. I was told “sorry, there was nothing they could do.” In the end, I was able to move them but this made things very difficult.

It’s pretty easy to navigate around the site. Good, not great. But, it would be nice if I could see the available seats before I booked. Often, seat availability means more than particular flights. In addition, I suggest you make it easier to find the plan map layouts.
