I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I was traveling with a 2 year old and it was very difficult trying to get seated together. I tried multiple agents and attempts at the counters. I was told “sorry, there was nothing they could do.” In the end, I was able to move them but this made things very difficult.

It’s pretty easy to navigate around the site. Good, not great. But, it would be nice if I could see the available seats before I booked. Often, seat availability means more than particular flights. In addition, I suggest you make it easier to find the plan map layouts.

The lady agent from Senegal who helped me out yesterday May 16th at around 5pm has been the most gracious, patient and efficient employee that I have ever met on the phone… I do regret not remembering her name …She deserves so much praise! Thank you, beautiful person!

most of the site worked ok. But data that had previously been saved was not there. Also changing the date for flights from one day to another required going totally out of the site and then back in. Previously, you could the prices for all days of a particular week.

Love Air France, but it was somewhat difficult using the web site to cancel the "flex" flight that the one you are asking about replaces. Still don't know if the refund will come through ok, since confirming emails only arrived for two of the three cancelled tickets.

Air France site is so easy to navigate

I love that they offer a calendar showing the different prices around the date to choose : so if you are flexible you can choose between several fares. the site is easy to navigate : it flows easily from one step to another with explanations if you need : I love it !

The Flying Blue Program is Fantastic

The Flying Blue mileage program is the best frequent flyer program for securing award seats--a hundred times better than Delta that requires a huge number of miles. Flying Blue provides business class award seats at very good "rates" if one reserves far in advance.

Your fare was a bit cheaper than KLM's though the flight I bought is co-shared with KLM. It is a mystery why the fare for exactly the same flight, same day, same departure time was a little cheaper if I bought it through the AF website. I am not complaining, however!

I wish there were more flights to Paris Orly where I need a correspondence to Algeria. Landing in CDGaulle forces me to travel to Paris Orly with my suitcase and pay a taxi (expensive) or take the transportation (rush hour) with the risk to miss the correspondence.

I had an expensive business class ticket and the seat was an economy class seat - small and cramped. There were 3 seats on the row as in Economy class the only difference being that the middle seat was blocked off which did nothing to enhance my comfort. I was angry!

Your website does not work with password manager software like 1Password. It’s tedious to have to enter login info by hand. In addition your website does not support auto form filling for data like addresses and credit card info. Slows the process down considerably

Better breakfast on long haul flight between LAX/CDG. Almost like dog food. BA has hot meal between LHR/CDG & AF only has cold plates only. I am a Platinum for Life AF passenger. Airfares & Life are expensive all over the world & hope to get some perks from AF.

Convenient direct flights IAH - CDG

You had convenient direct flights from Houston to Paris. Web site was straight forward but I had a little trouble signing my wife up with the rewards app. Verification would not send to her email. Also looking forward to updated business class. Sounds really good

A tighter integration of Skyteam benefits. I've got 2 million miles, but few of the benefits are recognized by Air France-KLM. For example, KLM used to have a member with my same Delta Skymiles number, so I would receive communications from Air France-KLM in Dutch.

Good Airline, Bad Website

I appreciate the airline overall but its website is not very reliable and can be quite frustrating. I make this comment after using it for more than a year. The problems are consistent. It is slow, clunky and resets often. It looks pretty but doesn’t work well.

Price drop not honored

The seats are comfortable, more leg room than other airlines. Friendly crew and agents. However, four days after I purchased my last ticket, I received a price drop email from AF. But they would not honor the new price. Then why did you send me the email?

I liked the table that showed air fares versus potential flight dates, I liked the option to pay a lock-in fee for my reservation without having to immediately buy a ticket, and I liked that the system did not lock up or get confused as often as it used to.

In my opinion as a regular human been without millions of dollars like 99 % of the world, we like to be able to book our regular flight with more options for seating and choosing our seats. Most seats always are taken or not available. Really frustrating.

So far so good. On line registration/ticket purchase went well. I did also purchase flight insurance and suggest you identify name of the carrier with contact information in case of any questions concerning extent and nature of coverage. Thank you.

Website still a bit clunky, the system still does not recognize Travellers from the same family, forcing to re enter over and over the same information (flying blue number, etc...). Other than that functionalities work, as expected from an airline like AF.
