I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The web site still buggy, in particular looking for award tickets. Sometime it shows the minimum required miles with date on top, sometime it disappeared. I clicked and scrolled through the dates and it happened all the time. It has been improved from six months ago (I needed to logoff to reset to be functional) Keep up the good work to make it smoother for your loyal customer.

The flight was on time, flight crew was polite and accommodating. In the middle of the flight I asked for something sweet and I was offered a box with several choices. That was cool!! However, and as usual, the food in economy is not that great. The bread should not be cold, bordering with frozen. Especially on flights FROM Paris. Despite the food, I enjoy flying AirFrance.

Website. Chose premium seating and selected seats. Moved to next page to customize trip and said seats “not available”. Called service team and while on hold lost the seat, had to choose different travel days which remains frustrating. Book and chose seats. 24 hours later, Air France has changed our seat assignments. Frustrating again. I appreciate neither experience.

Good site overall. BUT... I am a software developer so I will tell you how to improve it. I found a great deal to go to France from Raleigh Durham on Dec 25 returning on Jan 17. However, it took a lot of trial and error to find that deal. It would be nice if your website could steer people to the promo fairs, which you are obviously trying to sell, and I am trying to buy.

Easy booking, love Flying Blue family feature

Booking was easy, partner seat selection was simple when traveling with younger children, and I LOVE being able to use the FlyingBlue family feature. One thing that could have been improved is providing the partner airline confirmation/record locator on the confirmation e-mail, but the partner airline was easily able to locate my reservation using the AirFrance code.

24 hour cancellation policy would d be a plus

It would be excellent if Air France had a risk-free 24 hour cancellation policy to ensure the correct flight was chosen, to review the flight details more carefully and to have the information available to review with a flying companion before being stuck with a flight that might not be quite right. If there is such a policy, it’s not obvious and clear on the website.

The website has some problems. i.e. give the address where you will stay when you arrive at your destination. I am going to Paris, but the United States was entered for the country and there is no way to change to France. The other annoying feature is that you have to scroll thru a lot of countries before reaching the U. Other wise to buy a ticket was easy enough.

Every flight I’ve taken on Air France to date has been pleasant. I enjoy the layout of the planes (somehow feels more spacious that US planes) & the meal + beverage service is nice. I once visited one of the lounges with a coworker and absolutely LOVED the toiletries (L’Occitane at the time). I’m working towards gaining enough status to get lounge access myself.

The user experience booking a ticket is quite intuitive. For some reason, when comparing prices of flights over the neighboring days, the prices don't always show up in the day boxes, which forces you to look at each day individually. I am using Safari and I haven't been able to understand when these prices show up or don't. Apart from that, very intuitive journey

Flights I was looking for didn’t always appear. When attempting to re-start search, some data would be retained, some not, not clear what I would or wouldn’t have to re-enter. In some strange way I booked myself twice on the same flight. Customer service was not much help. Difficulty getting transaction canceled. Took two weeks to get round trip re-booked.

Ease of res modification and friendly service

I booked travel online and realised I had made an error in my departure date. I couldn’t change the reservation online for whatever reason as it was a changeable ticket. I dreaded calling in because of the usual hold times, getting transferred, etc but I got through immediately. The res agent quickly modified my flight and was very efficient and friendly.

The pet price is more expensive than my own but he get locked up in a crate alone. It used to be half the price, witch was already the price of 3 suitcases, and I though that was fair. I traveled many times with my large dog through air France but at that fee it is probably going to be the last time unfortunately. The service otherwise is always great

One problem I encounter, I go to booking to pull out my reservation, there is no space to put reservation code. It is frustrating. It used to be better, fast and efficient. Now it took me a while to pull out reservation. It seems that AF is going backward. I've been flying with AF for 25 years plus, I find it's more complicated now to use your site.

Good journey

I have already provided feedback on my flights from Washington-Dulles to Bucharest -Romania via Paris. But here it is again: I had a good experience with check-in, security and AF business lounge ( although the latter keeps becoming more crowded every time I fly), and my experience in the Premium Economy class was good. My luggage has safely arrived.

Superb Airline

The flight attendants on all of the Air France flights have been very kind and caring and very service-oriented! The food served on the flight is spectacular and flying in the business class, you are served as though it was a five star restaurant. The aircraft seats are really comfortable and spacious. Flying with Air France is always a pleasure!

Web site crushes many time during booking. Gave me errors multiple times. I had to start over and over again. On the third attemtpt with error the price went up so I abandoned it. Then hours later used my phone again 2 erros, but finaly went throuh with original price. Now I am trying to create account and it still multiplicationing. Very annoying.

The flight attendants barely speaks English, i don't eat meat and she didn't know how to tell me of the meal contains meat or not, she didn't offer any substitute for that, she just left with the cart and moved on to the next passenger, which was really disappointing. Not what I expect from a company and for a flight of 9 hours without normal food!!

Your phone staff is top notch. Always gracious and accommodating. I dislike your dynamic pricing on award flights. Especially this year. The Spring 2025 awards were very difficult to navigate to find an affordable redemption. I know it's about supply and demand, but it's still very tough to find something predictable when planning an award trip.

Frustrated

We found the flight times that matched our schedule perfectly. We tried to purchase them, but an “error occurred, please try again” message popped up. We immediately tried again, but the cost increased by $2,500!!!!! That is VERY disappointing. We purchased them anyway, because the schedule matched perfectly for our needs for our future trip.

Amazing service and excellent effort to resolve a very critical incident

Air France messed up on an incident with my bags and lost the tag but recovered quickly, got me on my way and compensated me generously The flight crew were extremely helpful and supported my needs to the last minute .. despite the scary incident, they were extremely supportive and acknowledged their mistake and made every effort to resolve it
