I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I have no guarantee my problem will be taken into account. I first sent an email and was given a reference number. But then I was told to call the platinum line. However I was not given a new reference number. I just have to hope the person who took my call will act as promised. Hence my rating as "fair".

Liked the connecting flights availability What can be done better 1. luggage handling - twice they spoiled our luggage. What we got in return as reimbursement was not even half of what we have ended up paying for the new ones 2. food especially vegetarian options could be a lot better on international flights

Two Annoying Issues

1- The Peruvian AF website offers only Spanish language. English should be a standard option for site language; 2- The booking/reservation server was painfully slow. Seating choices were (apparently) ultimately done even though the webpage stated that there are technical problems after hitting the OK button.

glad to have help in cdg with our connection. I was traveling with my grand daughter who was nine years. I was traveling on a different locator as a ID 90. The system would not allow for me to get both boarding passes on my own. Greeting agent was very helpful and pulled up both passes for us. Thanks!

On time dependable. Priced generally moderate. Good service. Comfortable seats. Not 5 stars because toilets have been very poorly supplied and kept clean. Also the food is not at all to my taste and has not been changed in 4 years that I have been frequently flying. Movies could use an upgrade too.

My frequent Flights have been on time and service is friendly and welcoming. Food can always be improved as can cleanliness of bathrooms and seat areas. Luggage retrieval at CDG needs to be faster. I have flown AF for the last 40 years, with a minimum of 2 rountrips per year and as many as 5-6.

I made selections for seats and food service and I'm unsure if they actually were accepted. I received red alert messages that they weren't but then my electronic ticket appears to have the selections captured. Just confusing messages. But the website was easy to navigate in selecting flights.

Keisha at the check in for our Virgin Atlantic flight to Heathrow connecting to CDG was amazingly helpful. We were so happy to see her again at the gate as we boarded. I thanked her again for helping my daughter and I secure seats together on this last minute flight. I even snapped a pic with her!

I made 2 réservations and it was very confused for the seats.I wanted to change and it was very difficult They were free and after they became charged? I try to pay then I cancelled before confirmation. I paid again and I waiter one Day to be sure it was confirmed. Other than that the site worked

I spoke with Navid, who has gone the extra mile to help me out with my e-credit. It did not work out to resolve the issue but I appreciate the effort. This whole skyteam needs to work better to be able to compete with Star Alliance. I kept running back and forth between airlines and its not fun.

The Air France app was frustrating in booking flights (for me and other friends!) I could see available flights, but had to go to the website to actually book the flights. Only then did they show up on my account in the app. (And the airfares were different prices between the app and website!)

Tried to book two tickets, your system only booked one and then charged me an additional $500 to book the second. Wait time to book the second ticket was 29 minutes phone hold time. Should rate the reservation system with only one star. Hope the flight experience will make up the difference

Inaccurate price option results. It took longer for me to select flights for my roundtrip journey because the date options previewed affordable low fares but when I clicked on the dates those affordable fares did not exist in the results. It was misleading, inaccurate, and frustrating to use.

Dishonest Advertising

It was very frustrating to receive a notification while I was in the midst of purchasing my tickets that the price had risen by $180. I had only been working on it for five minutes, and it made me feel like I'd been lured in by a lower price that I was never going to get in the first place.

I was unable to use any of my three credit cards to book my reservation. I needed to call the credit card companies to obtain a third party verification??? This was very frustrating and I was looking at other airlines when I could not book. So my suggestion is to improve your payment ease

I had a good experience but gave 4 stars because I didn’t receive any receipt after the purchase of the ticket while there was a good amount of difference between the price I saw and the price charged. I don’t mind but I would’ve loved to at least understand where the difference came from.

Website was a little difficult to navigate. I was not able to select the return flight I wanted and the transaction didn't go thru. I had to rebook the entire trip again and select a different return flight. Flight prices were very good and the layover times are not excessively long.

The Air France site is easy to navigate, price tickets, select seats I like the clear choice between Light, Standard and Flex - clearly compared and contrasted The seat selector color coded and legends made it easy to select the right seat I also liked the display of cabin food choices

Pretty Painless

Easy to select flights although I had to cancel my booking and start over rather than modify the existing booking because I wanted to change the type of fare on the same routes. I liked that pricing was transparent and matched the 3rd party website I used to find the best flights.

Website on Chrome wouldn’t display miles calendar. Tried several times. Had to switch to Firefox. Like Southwest no doubt Executives and shareholders are making their millions. But Air France is not updating their software My mileage airfare increased 15,000 miles in 4 days.
