I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I like Air France ..they care for their passengers and their belongings.. ONLY ONE BAD EXPERIENCE..my flight from Montreal to Chennai was canceled by you after booking my ticket in December 2023.and I had to incur lot of expenses due this cancelation. I thought they will give us some cancelation charges , but they refunded only our ticket fare.

Bad messaging nearly made me abandon the purchase

I was happily on my way to purchase a ticket when I saw this alert that totally confused me. Very bad experience. It made no sense and I had to decide whether to abandon the purchase or not. "your Flying Blue benefits are included in the fares below. Please note that these benefits are not transferable to other passengers in your booking. "

I like and appreciate everything about AF...its website, excellent value for use of award miles ( less than half compared to British Airways...I wish I could transfer BA miles to AF ), no cost seat selection when reservation is first made...with BA you have to pay ), wonderful service...on and off the plane, BA surprisingly has better food .

The way flight prices are posted, showing a price that initially appears to be the round trip fare, only to discover later in the process, the price for departing and returning flights are calculated separately and only combined just as preparing to pay for the flight is deceptive at minimum, and misleading, taking up my time with false hope.

Many of the items in the website don't save properly nor does the site work very well overall. I can't save profiles easily and I often have to do things two or three times to make them work. Pretty poor for such an important airline that we want to support. The service on flights and the staff are wonderful but the website isn't very good.

Happy with our Purchase

On the date of purchase, we were able to purchase our tickets to Spain with very competitive pricing. Although not perfect, our flight departure and arrival times are very close to our desired time frames. We were also able to enter our personal info (passport, known travel number etc) without too much difficulty. Happy with our purchase.

Free stopover

Great award search engine to see monthly availability. Works great between major hubs but if you want to add a smaller airport as a origin or destination it doesn't work well. There is a free stopover option for awards travel but it must be booked over the phone. When I called wasn't sure what the agent was telling me so I just gave up.

Air France Booking Process Tremendously Glitchy At The Seating Assignment Stage

During the reservation process (R/T SEA to CDG) last night, the system was glitchy. I tried 8 times to pick seating assignments for my wife & myself. I kept receiving error messages. Frustrating. After numerous attempts, I finally was allowed to move forward with our seat choices on both the outgoing & return, & completed the booking.

I don't understand how i can book a ticket then have a technical glitch take my money and points and not issue the ticket but issue a reservation number. If I hadn't followed up on my own I would have assumed I had a ticket when in fact I did not. Fortunately, the problem has been resolved but it took five days and three departments

Showed a flight available that was not actually available

There was a flight available online but I was prevented from purchasing it and got only a generic message. I had to call to speak with someone to find out that flight was not actually available and I needed to select another flight online to get the promotional price. A better error message would have saved me time and frustration.

At airport last trip I took hand bag. And back one as accessories. And wireless porst has a documents. They charged me for a hand back as 3ert checked back for 285$.that because the back purse as hand back and the documents purse as accessories. That very bad for airline. Doesn't care about there old customers. More then 20 years.

Easy to use site

A very good, intuitive and easy to use website. The only suggestion I would have is that the date of the selected flights should ALWAYS be displayed prominently — even on secondary or tertiary levels of detail. I appreciate the prompts and step-by-step levels for the completion of all the post-purchase information requirements.

Booking Paris to Atlanta

Booking the flight was a breeze, the only negative was that I was unable to choose seats prior to purchasing the flight. Previously I had gone through the booking process as a paid fare and was able to see which seats were available, but when I booked on points (with some money), I had no option to choose or even see seats.

The Air Blue benefits club for US seems messed up. Site for password input allows first letter to be only upper case—if password begins with lower, you have to enter the password on a clipboard first and then paste it. And then it tells you account is blocked. I don’t have this issue with any other airline loyalty accounts.

I booked the ticket using my miles

I booked the ticket using my hard-earned AirFrance miles. The taxes and fees we around $340. I also had a non-refundable voucher for $250 from my previous travel. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to apply my voucher to cover the cost of taxes and fees for this ticket. I am a Silver member of AirFrance and Flying Blue.

Easy and straight forward process To make a big purchase for international flights is stress enough. But are France website make it easy! The price is reasonable. Seats chosen was brief. We don’t need to contact the customer service to choose seats for free. This is very important when we travel with young children.

Accuracy matters

The agent initially booked the incorrect date which was discovered when I'm about to finalize and reserve. Called again to ensure the correct date was booked and reserved. Unfortunately, this little mistake caused me to transfer more points than needed. Oh well, these points can be used on the next trips i supposed.

I was very impressed by Airfrance's customer support yesterday (11/30) for booking 'Flying Blue'. Compared to British Air, where I was on hold for more than 30min and had to call again, Airfrance picked up almost immediately and helped me byuing a ticket that I was unable to buy online. All-in-all great support
