I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Your website has a bug

Your website has a subtle bug. I wanted a multi-city itinerary. The website said flights for my itinerary did not exist. BUT if I broke the desired itinerary into two separate ones, flights did exist. So I had to book my flights in two itineraries. This is a bit inconvenient as now I have to deal with TWO reservation codes instead of just one. And by the way, when I call up the 800 number, your human agent also could not find the correct flights. All my flights are in either La Première or Business class. I would expect your website and human agents to be more competent.

Booking limitations based on age.

My daughter turns 2 during my trip. I was unable to buy a ticket for a lap child for one leg and an actual seat for the return. I therefore tried to buy a ticket for both legs but the system would not allow me to buy a ticket for a child under 2. I was forced to buy one way tickets for both my daughter and my wife. Thanks to your policy of charging more for one way tickets, the flight cost me significantly more. If it were not for some credits that I had with AF I would have purchased the tickets from another carrier...as I will do in the future.

Things dont work if you dont sign up for Flying Blue

because I did not initially sign up for Flying Blue membership, after booking when I logged into Air France it would say I had no bookings. Apparently you have to sign up for Flying Blue membership, and they should say so or do it automatically or have full capability if you are allowed to not have Flying Blue membership. Also when I made another booking for the second leg of journey they could not find my wife's info preventing me from finishing the booking. So I liked the chat option - they efficiently sorted out my problems.

I tried booking a round trip with miles but could not. However I was able to book two one way tickets on the same dates I tried booking the round trip. In the past, I have also had more than once a certain number of miles showing for a round trip then I transferred miles from Amex and once the miles were in my account, AF asked for more miles literally a few minutes later. That’s what I call bait and switch and it’s dishonest to customer. However, I do like flying with AF and the personnel on the planes is usually very nice.

Show bookings I make for friends when I pay for them.

I helped book a ticket for a senior friend, using my points and cash, but I couldn't pull up the booking because it was in his name. He is in his late 80's, not tech savvy, and doesn't have a Flying Blue account. Tickets booked through my account should be viewable by me. Also the dates on the reward receipt are not the correct dates of the flights. I wasn't able to pull up the tickets myself to see that it was an AirFrance error, and spent a lot of time verifying I had purchased tickets for the correct dates.

The speed of the booking process. During the booking process I was asked to enter the first name according to the passport. Since I am a US citizen, our passport does not have the concept of first name. We have the given name which has both the first name and middle name. Suggest that the user interface be changed to suit the country of booking instead of having a single format. I would also suggest that, in every page include the details of to and from including the date and the price to be paid.

On the website, I couldn't find out seat availability right away but had to wait until many other things were completed in order to find out. And when I would find out that a seat wasn't available, I had to start all over. Very very very time-consuming. I almost gave up! Most other airline websites I go to have the seat availability on the window one chooses--see American Airlines site, for example. It saves a lot of time and isn't frustrating! Please make that little change for future viewings.

I consider the website well done but not the help line.

I consider the website well done. However, I had questions regarding seat selection on its code share partner, Delta. I called the help line. After a significant wait the agent explained the complication in that i would have to call delta to confirm my selected seats for that leg from Paris. He could offer no real help. He stated that the website was the best option for reservations. I felt he should have offered to complete my itinerary on the phone. I had suggested he do so and got no response.

Consistently providing outstanding service through the site. Site is easy to navigate and get everything done without having to reach out to customer service. In the past, when needing to cancel a redemption ticket, I preferred getting someone live however after several instances where I went through the whole process with them over the phone I came, by sheer luck, to discover that they never actually cancelled the ticket! That's when I decided to try online. This way I also have documentation.

Business seats We have flown Air France perhaps 25 times We always travel in business class. Service is impeccable, and the food is really great. However: The new seats are NOT comfortable at all. This is ridiculous to spend thousands of dollars and sit in an uncomfortable seat. It seems as though they removed a lot of the padding. It’s like siting on a 1” piece of foam, over hard plastic. AF used to have all kinds of snacks available during the flight. This trip, both ways, had nothing!

Your website is great ! Easy to navigate and user friendly. I would like it if once I checked Duration - Lowest Price - if it would remain that choice when I change screens and flight times. It would be a quicker and more accurate search. Also - I found it confusing as to how to select miles as opposed to money - the highlighted choice seems reversed. Just minor criticisms. My son just flew on Air France /KLM and said that is the only way to go from now on ! So thank you!

Favorite airline

Traveling halfway across the world on Air France was a very pleasant experience! The well-maintained aircraft and comfortable seats Make my long voyages much more relaxing! The cabin crews are so very nice, and they are very attentive to all of the passenger needs. The food that is served on Air France flights is superb! It's prepared with great detail and care, and is plentiful and really very flavorful. Of the many airlines that I fly on, Air France is my favorite!

We had to cancel a trip in January due to health reasons. We rcvd vouchers for our tickets after submitting Dr’s note. However, we had also paid for seat selections for two of us across four flights, which added up to $250+. We got conflicting information from three diff agents over 3 diff calls. It wasn’t until we were rebooking that an agent finally helped us with how to reuse that refund. Train your agents better so customers don’t feel like they get the runaround.

apres avoir recu ma carte senior, ai réservé un voyage AR de Los angeles sur Bordeaux. A mon grand étonnement, et après avoir appelé le bureau d'AIr France car le site ne reconnaissait pas la référence de la carte, il s'avère que cette carte n'est applicable qu'au départ de France. Cela est très décevant, et n'est en aucun cas stipulé sur aucune brochure. Très décevant de la part d'une compagnie comme Air France. Finalement, cette carte m'est complètement inutile.

Please allow view of seat selection while initially selecting flights. I often book AirFrance flights on the Delta web site because you can see seat selection before booking. This is incredibly important to me - especially when booking Premium Economy seating to ensure my husband and I are sitting next to each other with an aisle instead of completing the booking only to find out we would be sitting in the middle 2 seats of 4 and paying a lot for that option.

Overall good. But choosing the seats weren't given to me until I purchased the tickets. I didn't like that, I am a tall person having an extra leg room is important to me. I purchased the tickets and when I was given the option to choose the seats, non of the extra leg room seats were avilable, so now I am stock with a standard leg room chair. For the other seats (my family and friends) that wasn't a problem because they are not as tall as me.

We have flown back and forth from Nantes to Los Angeles three times in three months as my mother joyfully surrounded by family and friends celebrated her 100th birthday January 4 and then slipped away from us in the following two months. Your service has always been good, especially when I needed a couple of days ago to merge my one-way return trip with that of my husband’s round trip and include my mother’s orphaned dog. Signing up on the website was a long and cumbersome process. I was given options to have a code texted or emailed to me to verify my account. But then was warned SMS text wasn’t working. The first emailed code was one digit too long. Subsequent emailed codes also did not work. Eventually I gave up and waited a few hours before trying a different browser. It shouldn’t take this long to access the site after you have created an account.
