I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Poor business class experience

My booking reference K8MULR was for a flight 135 on June 19 that I took from Paris to Chicago. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in this experience. I paid extra to fly business class upgrade as well as paid for a full streaming WiFi pass. I had also indicated when I booked my ticket that I wanted a Indian Vegetarian Hindu meal. Here is everything I experienced which is not the trip I was looking forward to or planning for: - [ ] The WiFi was not working. I had planned to work the entire flight and as such pre booked a streaming WiFi pass for over 40 euros - [ ] When I originally booked my ticket, I had requested a Hindu Vegetarian meal. When I arrived on board I was told they don’t have it. If your system cannot carry over a request that I have made while book in no my ticket then what is the point to set expectations that you cannot meet ? - [ ] In business class a passenger was allowed to play religious music without headphones. Very lovely for others around who neither want to hear this nor can rest due to this. - [ ] My seat had garbage from a previous flight in my seat and it was not cleaned. There were crumbs from I am assuming the little crepes that you serve. There was also the plastic of the previous blanket inside the part where you put your feet. This is disgustingly gross as I don’t want to sit in an uncleaned seat. - [ ] The overhead light wouldn’t turn off so they had to turn the master switch off. I wasn’t able to read my book either. Needless to say that Air France business experience was not up to par. I was very disappointed. The thing that made my flight a bit better was the wonderful airline attendants that tried to make things better but many of these things were not in their control. I would have expected a much better maintenance of the plane to give the experience of real business class.

You have 3 people in a group with carry-on and you attempt to take and check all 3 carry-on bags even though they are full of valuables and medical equipment never intended to be checked. Taking a bag away is perhaps reasonable. This is the second time this has happened and this is the second time that we've arrived to our seat to find plenty of available space on the plane. The attendants end up closing empty overhead bins before take off. I have flown on plenty of other airlines where the crew inform the gate team when space has run out and bags need to be checked. The Air France team doesn't seem capable of using a radio. Your technology usually doesn't work. I tried scanning passports as the website asked me to do prior to check-in. The tech didn't work. Because it didn't work, it wouldn't let me advance to trying to change seats. I switched to using the app as it didn't care if I scanned passports to check-in. This is usually how it goes when using Air France's substandard tech. I also had to use a different credit card on 2 occasions as the website thinks that December 2024 is in the past. Perhaps my days of flying Air France are in the past.

Felt like a bait and switch. Had booked flight direct on AirFrance. Nothing anywhere indicated "standby". Picked seats for flight to and fro, git booking number, etc. Day before, trying check i, had issues had to call service line. Was told flight is standby not guarantee. Wasn't going to drive 4 hours to possibly nlt have a flight and absolutely hadnto be there at that day, time. They "were booked full, maybe could get business class" . Hold. Let me chck, no flight is full. Let me see what I can do when heard we have overseas class requirement, had to be there. Hold. Comea back, says we can upgrade from economy to economy plus for addtiomal 560 bucks. We were in rock and hard place. Had to take. He putsbon hold, comes back to get cc payment. Puts on hold and after a short bit, comes back saying ok bookrd flight, guaranteed seats all good and the proceeds to give me my originally booked seats that I have already selected on original booking and payment back in March. This was now middle of May and conveniently we het exact seat we booked months earlier for 560+ more bucks for a flight that was 15 minutes earlier ok our conversations was booked full?

Award flight system terrible

When I submitted payment for my booking the first time the page returned to the select flight screen and showed the same amount of miles needed. So I just went ahead and booked again. After receiving the confirmation email I found the flight was different than I initially selected. The first time the system took me back to the select flight section didn't mention that the flight I initially selectes was not available, which misled me to select a different flight with the same amount of miles. Now I have to pay 70 euro per person to change the flight even within 24 hours of booking.

Probably the worst call center customer service of…

Probably the worst customer service of an airline that I have seen in many years and I fly a lot. If you booked a ticket, going out in business class and coming back in economy class the economy class ticket coming back is billed $350 more than if you book an economy going out and economy coming back with the exact same flight. I called to find out why and got someone who clearly didn't know anything about air france. Kept me on for 30 minutes. Said no supervisor around but one would call but never did of course

Tried to book a first class ticket from Paris to Naples on 10/13 for $429. Website kept crashing and by the time it was back up within an hour the price was raised to $872. Same number of seats still available. Started the original purchase at approximately 5:35 pm ET. Eventually forced to buy a coach ticket for $306 at 6:45 pm ET. Reservation # J9POQB. Extremely disappointed in service.

Air France has lied on their website and has cheated customers. They have said from 2022-2023 that their tickets are cancellable and changeable. If a ticket was cancelled by the customer, then the customer would receive a credit voucher. But in 2024, if you cancel, you don't get a credit voucher. They have increased their prices and charge on everything.

I was not able to complete the booking process. When I got to the part where I should have been able to add payment, I was given an error. This happened multiple times so I needed to go through the flight search, selection, seat selection and passenger information 5 times before I was able to reach the payment page. Same flights every time.
