I like the fact that Superbalist really cater for the plussize woman. All too often plussize clothing are outdated, frumpy and just not nice. We also struggle with trendy styles, things are nit true to size etc but Superbalist has really delivered 70% of the time so far. There is a lot they can improve on since the South African market has a lot of potential for plussize woman. Another BIG issue is finding boots for people with big calves. I have big calves and have to buy my boots from the UK cause NOWHERE in SA I can find them. Otherwise I have to take them to someone who then adds a piece of leather so they can fit me. I bought a pair from the Butterfly label (my fav because the shoes are always so comfortable) and they fit beautiful till I have to zip it closed. I have always been disappointed with knee hight boots in South Africa.

Delivery was late. Seems like it was only attended to once I contacted you guys to complain. Then I was told that one of my items was not available even though the app showed that it was. You guys sent me a 20% discount which was not much less than the discount I would have received on the dress and now the dress in my size is sold out. Very bad service. This has happened before and I've overlooked it but this problem doesn't seem to be addressed. I've also noticed other customers complaining about the same thing. So not impressed

I recently bought a shoe and my normal size didn’t fit. I tried returning for an exchange but the system kept on giving me an error to “try again later”. For weeks I had this issue, I did reach out for assistance and a lady by the name of Wendy tried and she did all she could to assist me but with no joy at the end. The product was on hold and I had to return for refund a shoe that I like so much. I was very reluctant to return the shoe for refund as I wanted an exchange but I knew o could forfeit my option to return for anything. If you could please let customers know on the system if the product would be made available again when it on hold and also consider extending the return period for such cases. I’m still not happy that I had to return the shoe for refund 😢😢😢😭

Poor data management & service

I have requested for my contact details to be updated on 3 separate occasions. The most recent time this happened, the driver cancelled my delivery after 2 failed delivery attempts because the agents failed to update my information. After numerous complaints, an agent informed me that I needed to update my number on their website despite placing all my orders on the app, updating my contact information on the app, and submitting a request that the information be updated via email. The lack of accountability on their end for failing to update information that has been provided on multiple channels and effectively punishing customers for their failure to update information or integrate their information systems is ridiculous, especially for a digital company.

I don’t love you

- Takes forever to get your items, even when in stock at Jhb warehouse. Even Shein is faster than you from time tontime and their stock comes from China - Often you only find out when you won’t be getting your items at time of delivery - because now all of a sudden it is out of stock… and now at the last minute you don’t have an outfit - no email support, resulting in increased turnaround times. You want photos, but form doesn’t allow for it..so you now have to wait for someone to send a mail to include pics - My most recent order an item wasn’t included. Support can’t be bothered to get back to me… forever giving you the runaround and wasting my time - careless packaging, looks like everything just got dumped into a box How I long for the days of Spree…

I really have problems with the delivery services. It's either they report my parcel as delivered before they arrive and 25-30 of reporting that I didn't receive my parcel after getting a "delivered" notification, then the delivery person will arrive with an attitude. I recently returned an item and on the day of the collection I got a notification claiming that they tried to collect my item but couldn't. I didn't get a call or text that anyone is outside and that's just unprofessional on the delivery service team. Please employ people that are keen to represent your company well. I am only having this issue from late last year until early this year. Before that I always had a great experience with Superbalist services throughout all departments.

Placed an order on the 28th of November 2023. Still have not received my parcell. Sent so much money already trying to locate my parcell, with zero success since Superbalist and Take alot were not able to help as I am still waiting to this day. Parcel was supposed be delivered on 05 December 2023. Order number 216 21845. My order status changed to delivered last week and when I phoned to enquire how this could be since I have not received my parcell. I was told that the parcell is on its way to me. My husband went to the takealot warehouse in Port Elizabeth where he was told that the parcell was lost and that they would report it as lost. Still have not heard anything. At this point I dont even want the parcell anymore, I just want a refund.

Return Submission Gone Wrong

I logged a return at the Takealot pick up point in Stellenbosch and dropped off my dress. I got a confirmation email saying that my return is being processed. Then a day later I get a notification saying that my ORDER has been processed and is scheduled for delivery on 14 February. My dress is now being returned to my house and I did not want the dress back. I wanted a refund. I specifically returned it and now I have to mission to a drop off point again to log the return. Additionally the dress is scheduled to be dropped off at my house, but I work at an office and will not be there to collect it. I never request a delivery I always go to collect because I know that I wont be home during those hours. Absolute run around. Not impressed.

Products good, not a fan of their logistics

If you need something quick, make sure to order it separate. Otherwise it can take quite some time to get to you to be delivered. Delivery is also not really accurate, just because it says it would be delivered, it doesn’t mean it comes on the day they tell you. (I ordered a few times) Products arrived all in good condition, as it’s supposed to be. Also not sure why they wrap almost every single item in a separate box 📦 such a waste of packaging. In general all good, just not a fan of their logistics and how they run their company. Doesn’t feel sustainable to me. I give to them that their customer service got back to me within 24hrs after I sent an email, which is nice.

I ordered 6 items. 5 items I received were incorrect. I had to return the items after a lot of admin effort on my part as I had to send pictures of the incorrect items received and I had to verify my order even though your staff should have access to what I ordered initially. 2 items that needed to be replaced were sold out and I was refunded - but that would not have happened if I had received my initial order correctly. I received the items initial items ordered, only to find one item as once again sent incorrectly. I will be returning the entire order as my frustration levels in ordering from Superbalist have come to a point where I will NOT be ordering from you again.

Awful experience. Superbalist listed an item as a set. Deceptions reads x2 items. After placing an order and only receiving 1 item, it was a week long dispute, calling superbalist every day to figure out why I did not receive the other item. Eventually, after speaking to 10 different agents, I demanded to speak to a team leader who refused to send the other item, even though it is listed as a set, and instead, issued a refund. The item was collected, and now I'm stuck trying to get my money back as they refuse to refund me. Now, they have the items, and my money, and i have nothing. Another week of endless phone calls and agents promising to call me back but never do.

I wish I was able to rate 0 stars but there is no option, poor customer service, call centre for help and you will experience the worst service ever, the agents go as far as shouting at callers and disconnect the lines, you ask to speak to a manager, you will be placed on hold for hours, thier drivers are rude and not professional, the will complain about everything including parking, I don't know whether should customers provide parking for them or what, it's just a mess, thier communication system is delayed, I'm about to uninstall the app, Zando is still better so far, feeling sad as I enjoyed the fashion they offer but due to thier service I'm done with them

Delivery address error

I accidentally selected my home address instead of my work address for delivery of my order, and was unable to correct that. I then sent an email to the customer service email address requesting to amend the delivery address, but I received an auto-response stating that I needed to log my request online/via the App. I tried to do so, but found no options linked to my issue. When the driver called to deliver while I was at work, he advised that my parcel would go back to the depot. They sent another SMS the next day advising of delivery and I arranged with a neighbour to sign on my behalf. This was my first inconvenient experience with Superbalist.

Your service is very poor and you don't value your customers. Ever since the beginning of this year I have been dealing with a very disrespectful driver of yours. I have complained about him on several occasions and I believe no disciplinary measures were taken against him. Secondly, your sales team is messing up my orders. At some point I ordered a polo shirt and received kids clothes, on another occasion I bought a " new era" Lakers cap with a gold logo but surprisingly I received a "new era" cap that I did not order. Fix up your mess or we will end up going the social media route " hello peter" to expose your unprofessionalism.

Cancellations by Superbalist

Cancellation of orders for various reasons by Superbalist prejudices customers and leaves a negative buying experience. In my recent order, the courier failed to deliver (I proved there had been zero attempts) and yet I now have no product, lost the deal I purchased the products on, have money as a credit on your platform, which I do not want...and am jaded about spending money on the platform anymore. My previous experience, I had purchased and item, which Superbalist then cancelled due to the supplier not having stock and 3 weeks later the item is for sale again (at higher pricing). Just poor customer service in all aspects.

Order messed up, no checks prior to delivery

I've used Superbalist for a few times and have introduced and helped friends with orders in the past. I honestly have to say my last order was the worst experience I have had with Superbalist. Apart from the fact that 1 item was cancelled due to some inventory problems,the rest of the order was also messed up. The other one was the wrong colour and I ordered a CK card holder which came squashed in a plastic wrap instead of the labelled gift box it was listed in on the shop. I doubt if the order was checked properly before being moved to transit dept. I'm sorry but I was honestly not happy with the way this order was handled.

Terrible terrible service

Terrible service. First my delivery was late, then when it did arrive more than half the items were missing, even though the status on my order was delivered fully for all the items. It then took a few days for the Superbalist team to get back to me about what was going on, after numerous attempts to get hold of them, making me think that they had taken my money with no intention of giving me the things I had paid for. Eventually they responded to say that they would deliver my items, but again it was delivered with some of the times missing. I have been told I will get a refund, but I have not yet received the refund.

Terrible service

Ordered a queen size headboard - a king size headboard is delivered. And damaged on top of that. I log a refund. And as we all know you need to select the item you are returning. I paid R60.00 for it to be delivered on a Saturday. They send a man on a bike to collect a 2meter long headboard. I wasted one Saturday already waiting for a bike. Following week comes, they weee supposed to collect that Saturday and no one showed, so another day wasted waiting for them. You can’t call the call centre on Saturdays as they are closed. I am highly annoyed with the service. And honestly an apology telephonically doesn’t cut it.

I ordered 2 pairs of kids trainers and 2 double duvet cover sets. They arrived in 4 boxes and could have fitted in 2. The duvet cover sets are the wrong size. I ordered double and queen have arrived. I live in zambia and have them couriered up to me and I won’t be able to change them. You need to become more conscious of your waste you are creating. I’ve ordered a pen and a diary before and they came in 2 boxes as well. Also, if you don’t have the right size, rather let the customer know than send the wrong one and make more work for them. I won’t be ordering from Superbalist again now and am a regular customer!

DISAPPOINTED - STOCK ISSUE FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH THE SAME ITEM

I have ordered the cleo round mirror - gold 50cm twice now (on the 19th of January, rder # 215 14934 and again on the 27th January, order # 221 11637) and each time the order was cancelled and refunded automatically due to no stock. But still on the 2nd of February the item still shows in stock on your website/app. Now do I order it AGAIN for the third time or do I assume that after half a month it still does not reflect the correct stock and is in fact out of stock although the website/app does not reflect this??? I would very much like this mirror and NOT to be refunded (and disappointed) for the third time?!

If you cannot refund on your products then do an exchange. Your company has not met my expectations. Your website is not even user friendly. I ordered for the products and I know exactly what I ordered. After paying I received an email to confirm my order. I then saw that the order was changed. I tried calling your offices several times but it just rang and there was no answer. It was literally impossible to get hold of your offices. When I received the delivery I sent am email trying to explain what happened and I just received a negative response. Will never purchase from Superbalist!!!! It's a scam 😒

Getting a refund is like pulling chicken teeth. The

Which a lack on inventory control, there are many times that orders have been cancelled by Suprbalist (This is not the actual issue personally). The issue I have is that getting a refund from Superbalist is like walking on a bed of nails. It's painful. Horrible. Frustrating... to say the least. The "Concierge" is more concerned about closing tickets to reach their quotas, as opposed to actually resolving the issues. If you are expecting a refund, just don't hold your breath or depend on it. No one seeing an issue to the point of resolve. Ps. Im still waiting on my refund from the 4th November.
