I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Very Helpful Customer Support Line

I experienced some issues while signing up for Flying Blue so I called the customer support line for help. The representative was very helpful and kind on the phone and walked me through the process. Very nice!

Payment page on your website is complicated. It first shows credit cards from my profile, but does not allow me to go any further. I have to go to the next page and select again that I want to use a visa card.

My wife and I had booked and selected seats 6 months and were summarily moved 3 weeks before the flight. Air France US was of no help, when they could have easily reassigned one person and solved the problem.

I love Air France business class. For us it’s the best one we used. Comfortable, clean, nice service on board. The only negative is that our luggage didn’t arrive with us in two different international trips.

Value of service. Please don't charge your loyal customers for basic/economy seat selection. We are already paying for the fair ticket value and we earn loyalty points by using the flyblue credit cards!

Phone System Issues

Unfortunately my experience with your phone system both in the US and France was poor. My calls were dropped on the Air France side 5 times midway through the call. it appeared to happen when put on hold.

Did not respond to my problem! After several phone calls, 2 different agents, and broken promises I still have problem. Had to cancel some medical priorities because of failed promise to fix and call back.

Great options for international travel

We appreciated being able reserve our seats since we're traveling with our 6 year old son. We also liked the ability that we could choose our meals and there were several options for vegan, and children.

website not responding while making payment

It happened to me 2 times when the website is not accessible anymore after I put my payment details. I need another browser for the website to work again and I needed to go through the whole booking again.

Most of the site worked OK. It would be nice if the sorting order for booking searches didn't keep switching back to the default from "price". I kept having to change that every time I redid the search.

The prices fluctuate by the second...it was impossible to buy ticket for 3 adult. We really wanted to travel on business class .. but price kept doubling and tripling in less than a min. Do not recommend.

I created a booking, and then joined Flying Blue. My booking does not show up on Flying Blue or on the app. Both sites want me to create a new booking. I am not sure how to access an existing booking.

I loved that you show several days before and after the date I requested with the different prices for each day. I tried to use my french Visa card and it didn't work. I would have liked to pay in euros.

I like preview but....

I like the preview of the tickets offered and easy to book. I dont like hard time to get any support of I want to change ticket or refund. I was never reimbursed since 2021. Absolute shame for AirFrance.

Too difficult to book flights with too many add on charges including seat selection and lounge access. These two items should be included as part of the business fare price and not considered as extra
