I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. In my opinion as a regular human been without millions of dollars like 99 % of the world, we like to be able to book our regular flight with more options for seating and choosing our seats. Most seats always are taken or not available. Really frustrating.

So far so good. On line registration/ticket purchase went well. I did also purchase flight insurance and suggest you identify name of the carrier with contact information in case of any questions concerning extent and nature of coverage. Thank you.

Website still a bit clunky, the system still does not recognize Travellers from the same family, forcing to re enter over and over the same information (flying blue number, etc...). Other than that functionalities work, as expected from an airline like AF.

Air France website - easy, peazy!

Used Kayak to search airfares. Air France had what I wanted at a pricepoint I was willing to pay. Kayak connected to Air France website. Very easy to navigate. Good descriptions of what I was buying. Choosing seats, easy. Very nice booking procedure.

I appreciated that what was included with the ticket was clearly stated. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that Business Class offered quite a bit of space, even though it's a shorter flight. Looking forward to experiencing everything offered.

In the airport, I was aimed to be an economy passenger and told the wrong check-in counter. Plane layout was not what the map showed when I purchased the ticket. Crew was nice and very professional. Plane was not comparable to other business classes.

You'r revamped Flying Blue points program has become a joke, almost a million miles for a business class ticket SFO - CDG. Intentionally outrageous. The cost of the same same ticket is over $7000 miles. Ridiculous. You do have competition you know.

I was unable to complete my first attempted purchase online, called helpline and was told someone would follow up with me in 24 hours. Was told “purchase cannot be completed online” because price needed to be checked with Delta. No one followed up.

Booking made easy & Good customer service

Booking was easy to do and the website is user friendly. Unfortunately our flight was canceled prior to us taking it. However, AirFrance was very quick in emailing us about options we could take. We chose to be refunded and it was quick and simple.

Website was challenging to use to find promo fares. They appeared and disappeared during multiple attempts to coordinate two travelers starting in different cities and then joining on the nonstop to Paris. No button for flexible departure dates.

Coordination with Delta Website

Workflow is generally smooth for travel planning, particularly for identifying more economic opportunities by minor changes in departure dates. Linkage for seat assignments for those ordering tickets via Delta needs to be linked into the process.

I liked the flight attendants, the food, and the video selections but was wondering why the films do not list the dates they were made/released. I'm not sure what to suggest for improvement because there were many amenities in Basic Economy.

The website is well organized and responsive........Change to make:: provide access to the seating map for an individual flight earlier in the selection process. Sometimes it is important to view available seats before selecting the flight.

I did fly with air france before and it was pretty good Food was great, and it was on time with just enough time to run to the next flight. My only complaint is that we can't check in online! Are you serious? Why? Very uncomfortable.

Everything worked fine. Only two things might enhance the experience. One would be an easier way to separately assign seating class for the outbound and return flights. The other would be a look at available seats earlier in the process.

Test the book with miles function please

You have some code issues with the book with miles part of the site. After a few searches it stops working. The ‘easy’ fix is to delete all cookies and local storage. I don’t know exactly what’s causing it, but that’s what testing is for.

Good but could be better

It would be better if you could get a compressed view of all the key information for your full itinerary rather that printing the outbound and return separately. More options for viewing prices in a calendar view would also be helpful.
