I like the fact that Superbalist really cater for the plussize woman. All too often plussize clothing are outdated, frumpy and just not nice. We also struggle with trendy styles, things are nit true to size etc but Superbalist has really delivered 70% of the time so far. There is a lot they can improve on since the South African market has a lot of potential for plussize woman. Another BIG issue is finding boots for people with big calves. I have big calves and have to buy my boots from the UK cause NOWHERE in SA I can find them. Otherwise I have to take them to someone who then adds a piece of leather so they can fit me. I bought a pair from the Butterfly label (my fav because the shoes are always so comfortable) and they fit beautiful till I have to zip it closed. I have always been disappointed with knee hight boots in South Africa.

Delivery was late. Seems like it was only attended to once I contacted you guys to complain. Then I was told that one of my items was not available even though the app showed that it was. You guys sent me a 20% discount which was not much less than the discount I would have received on the dress and now the dress in my size is sold out. Very bad service. This has happened before and I've overlooked it but this problem doesn't seem to be addressed. I've also noticed other customers complaining about the same thing. So not impressed

I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband for Christmas. Only to find a refund was processed for the order a week later. There was no explanation and I had to contact Superbalist to find out what the reason was for the cancellation, upon enquiry I was told that there was no stock available and the order was cancelled. I had to make alternative arrangements for a present. There was no prior correspondence from Superbalist to alert me to the situation. I find this as incredibly bad customer service and I don't think I will use their service again.

I can't see what can be done. Orders not being sent, no forthcoming communication unless I reached out. Useless vouchers to "rectify" the terrible service. First item was apparently not available that I ordered, yet it was placed back in stock on the online store. Second item was apparently lost in transit - yet the status of delivery remained that it had never left their warehouse - no tracking number was ever sent for this parcel. Just all around terrible and will definitely never order again, no matter how good the pricing might seem.

Dirty Sneakers

I ordered white Converse sneakers and received a dirty pair of sneakers. I sent it back and requested an exchange. Then I received an even dirtier pair of white converse. Had to exchange it for the third time. Now I received the third pair of sneakers and they aren’t as dirty as the first two but still have minor stains on them and look a bit faded. It is extremely unprofessional that the Superbalist team thinks its acceptable to send items in that condition to their customers. I would never recommend purchasing from Superbalist to others.

Always getting orders wrong

Superbalist is always getting orders wrong and think they can just throw money at the problem. I don’t want 10% off the next order I won’t be making because you’ve made too many mistakes in the past. I also don’t want children’s brand name sneakers when I’m a size 6 woman. If you’re going to throw money at the problem, be it immediate reimbursement. At least something useful to me that I don’t have to wait over a week for. I don’t want to be disappointed again and again which seems to be standard operating procedure for Superbalist.

I received a refund due to the stock you list on your website not being available in the warehouse. I called customer care and the lady was super rude and accused me of not understanding the inner workings of an online platform. I then received a discount code to make up for the inconveince of the refund and the product not being available, but the code is not stackable on already existing promostions? I think that these codes could atleast be stackable to compensate for your faults and systems not working the wat they should.

Incorrect size, twice!

I ordered a pair of crocs and I was sent the incorrect size. Logging the exchange took days as the App kept crashing. Eventually it went through and the shoes were collected.. a new pair was delivered a week later and I received the same incorrect size. Customer service was terrible and I eventually dropped it off as a refund. I dropped it off on Sunday morning and i still havent heard anything from Superbalist to say they have received the parcel. I'd like my money back and I definitely won't be using this app again. Thanks

I sent the Jean back because it was a bit big and wanted a smaller size. Firstly I could not opt for the return drop off at a takealot point, the only option was collection from my house, meaning that I had to arrange for someone to be home for the pick up. The replacement Jean was ordered and was suddenly cancelled without anyone notifying why it was cancelled. I had to call the call centre to find out what was happening only to get an apology email and a 10% discount code which I have not used. This was so unprofessional.

Your company needs to change management Your operations department is fucked. I have ordered and the same incorrect shoe size has been delivered twice. I’m waiting for my 3rd delivery on the same shoe tomorrow. Let’s see. This is a JoKe. Your company is a joke. Till today not any superior called as the consultants promised me they would. Disgusting. Please FIRE yourselves in the operations team. Your staff is showing you fuck you signs by placing the incorrect product in shipments. Get with the program!!!!!

Please do a better inventory and provide reasons on cancelled orders

There have been many times when I ordered an item from Superbalist and the order subsequently gets cancelled with a refund being done. Better inventory needs to be done by the company to eliminate these inconveniences. There is also no reason provided as to why the order is cancelled. There has been 2 separate occasions when I have seen the item sold again within a week and although I select “notify when available” I do not get the notification from Superbalist that it’s back in stock. This has been really disappointing

Appalling packaging during transit!

Bought the Delsey Chatelet and when the order arrived, I was so appalled by the packaging? It was just a flimsy tattered plastic “protecting” the case. It had holes and looked like something that was taken out of the trash and reused. There was no box or at least bubble/plastic wrap. The handles were so dirty from all the handling! For such an expensive item, more should’ve been done to protect the case… it’s so disappointing to see how poor Superbalist’s standards/quality control have gotten! I am so disappointed!

I have had terrible service delivery from Superbalist. The customer service staff have been great but I have been delivered two wrong carpets then an order I made was sent to the wrong place and I wasn’t able to get the products I ordered. Now my latest delivery was meant to arrive today but have been emailed that this order will be delayed too. I has not been one problem, but many errors that has left me not wanting to order from Superbalist again. I have been a loyal customer for many years but this is ridiculous

Improve everything!!! Customer service to begin with. It's utterly pathetic. System glitches, cancelled orders, cancelled items, incorrect items being sent.... the list goes on and on. But most importantly, hire staff that actually do their jobs and answer emails and calls on time, not 3-7 days later or never! If this can't be done, then please close down. Stop imposing this lunacy on your customers, it's becoming highly frustrating and irritating to a point where I will just stop shopping at Superbalist altogether!

My last 2 orders were not delivered on time. The promised collection date for the first one was a Saturday, eventually only ready for collection on the Tuesday after. The second one had a delivery date of Friday and was only delivered on the Saturday. The customer care centre is NOT available on weekends so each time there was no assistance via phone. Completing the contact form on the app is pointless as they don’t reply. They only respond after LATE delivery to say ‘we see you have now got your order’. Useless.

Deliver complete orders and communicate when you can’t fulfill complete orders. Don’t just deliver and say nothing. Also your after sales is terrible. I have been waiting for two weeks for my issue to be resolved, all because your call centre staff have to wait for you ‘box’ or whatever it’s called to give feedback. I cannot escalate my query, I’m stuck with the same feedback and reference number that I have been receiving for two weeks. Do better. Such a same that your service has deteriorated to this level.

Although they offered me a R250 discount for my first purchase via email when I registered and immediately made my purchase without knowledge of this discount (as I only saw the email much later), when I brought it to their attention, they refused to apply it to my purchase. Instead they offered me a R250 credit voucher which requires me to make another R700 purchase. Furthermore, this voucher is only valid for 12 months, whereas the Consumer Protection Act's requires any credit vouchers to be valid for 3 years.

Poor delivery service

My product was promised to be delivered to me by 14 Dec. After almost a week pass the delivery date, I had heard nothing from Superbalist neither their delivery service centre. Only after I queried they confirmed that my item was lost and that a new order was placed which I would only receive by 28 Dec. I have had to shift my holiday going away plans to accommodate this oversight and delay. This is extremely poor service and most inconvenient. Will think twice before I order large items from Superbalist again.

I was sent an email to apologize that my delivery was sent to the wrong address and that it would be resent from the warehouse and would therefore come at a later date and not the day it was scheduled for, 10 days later I received my delivery but it was missing a few items, now I'm getting emails from a different person investigating the missing items, they should check on their side and find out where and what went wrong and not waste my time, I hope I get my items soon as it was meant to be a Christmas gift.

You can definitely improve on your inventory accuracy.

You can definitely improve on your accuracy regarding inventory because this was not my first time purchasing an item that was later on out of stock. The fact that I am excitedly waiting for my order for days and then just to be told at the end of it that your item has been canceled is just the death of me...then, still waiting even longer for the refund. Too much frustration when shopping is meant to everything but that! That said, the customer service agents are always helpful and professional. Keep it up!

I placed my first order with Supwrbalist which was dispatched to the wrong facility. I was then informed that they were redirecting the parcel and that it would take up to 3 working days longer to arrive. I was then refunded after 5 days instead of receiving my parcel after confirming twice that the parcel was just being redirected. They then refunded me without my delivery fee that i had paid and then had to request the delivery fee to be refunded as well. Will definitely never use Superbalist again.

Size and cancellation

The order came, but the size was a bit small I would assume it the make as 45/46 on black Havaianas fits me perfectly, but what I did not like is the second pair I ordered was canceled not sure the reason this was a gift, I was happy I received a voucher of 20% but now if I place another order I still have to pay for delivery and the voucher only works on normal price items. That was the only issue I had and it was my first time placing an order, I am really reluctant to place another order.
