I like the fact that Superbalist really cater for the plussize woman. All too often plussize clothing are outdated, frumpy and just not nice. We also struggle with trendy styles, things are nit true to size etc but Superbalist has really delivered 70% of the time so far. There is a lot they can improve on since the South African market has a lot of potential for plussize woman. Another BIG issue is finding boots for people with big calves. I have big calves and have to buy my boots from the UK cause NOWHERE in SA I can find them. Otherwise I have to take them to someone who then adds a piece of leather so they can fit me. I bought a pair from the Butterfly label (my fav because the shoes are always so comfortable) and they fit beautiful till I have to zip it closed. I have always been disappointed with knee hight boots in South Africa.

Delivery was late. Seems like it was only attended to once I contacted you guys to complain. Then I was told that one of my items was not available even though the app showed that it was. You guys sent me a 20% discount which was not much less than the discount I would have received on the dress and now the dress in my size is sold out. Very bad service. This has happened before and I've overlooked it but this problem doesn't seem to be addressed. I've also noticed other customers complaining about the same thing. So not impressed

Terrible service

Ordered a queen size headboard - a king size headboard is delivered. And damaged on top of that. I log a refund. And as we all know you need to select the item you are returning. I paid R60.00 for it to be delivered on a Saturday. They send a man on a bike to collect a 2meter long headboard. I wasted one Saturday already waiting for a bike. Following week comes, they weee supposed to collect that Saturday and no one showed, so another day wasted waiting for them. You can’t call the call centre on Saturdays as they are closed. I am highly annoyed with the service. And honestly an apology telephonically doesn’t cut it.

I ordered 2 pairs of kids trainers and 2 double duvet cover sets. They arrived in 4 boxes and could have fitted in 2. The duvet cover sets are the wrong size. I ordered double and queen have arrived. I live in zambia and have them couriered up to me and I won’t be able to change them. You need to become more conscious of your waste you are creating. I’ve ordered a pen and a diary before and they came in 2 boxes as well. Also, if you don’t have the right size, rather let the customer know than send the wrong one and make more work for them. I won’t be ordering from Superbalist again now and am a regular customer!

DISAPPOINTED - STOCK ISSUE FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH THE SAME ITEM

I have ordered the cleo round mirror - gold 50cm twice now (on the 19th of January, rder # 215 14934 and again on the 27th January, order # 221 11637) and each time the order was cancelled and refunded automatically due to no stock. But still on the 2nd of February the item still shows in stock on your website/app. Now do I order it AGAIN for the third time or do I assume that after half a month it still does not reflect the correct stock and is in fact out of stock although the website/app does not reflect this??? I would very much like this mirror and NOT to be refunded (and disappointed) for the third time?!

If you cannot refund on your products then do an exchange. Your company has not met my expectations. Your website is not even user friendly. I ordered for the products and I know exactly what I ordered. After paying I received an email to confirm my order. I then saw that the order was changed. I tried calling your offices several times but it just rang and there was no answer. It was literally impossible to get hold of your offices. When I received the delivery I sent am email trying to explain what happened and I just received a negative response. Will never purchase from Superbalist!!!! It's a scam 😒

Nightmare on my forst order

Ordered once and had my order cancelled without me knowing until an email was delivered later. I was not granted the option of quick delivery on the next order. Extremely defective products delivered. Return process was a complete mess. I had to fight to get my delivery fee refunded to me. Some consultants who handled my call disconnected. Terrible experience for ordering my first product. Superbalist has not even compensated me as a consumer for the first order. A consultant mentioned that compensation would only be considered if you guys keep all delivery fees without refunding which is ridiculous.

Getting a refund is like pulling chicken teeth. The

Which a lack on inventory control, there are many times that orders have been cancelled by Suprbalist (This is not the actual issue personally). The issue I have is that getting a refund from Superbalist is like walking on a bed of nails. It's painful. Horrible. Frustrating... to say the least. The "Concierge" is more concerned about closing tickets to reach their quotas, as opposed to actually resolving the issues. If you are expecting a refund, just don't hold your breath or depend on it. No one seeing an issue to the point of resolve. Ps. Im still waiting on my refund from the 4th November.

Unable to reschedule order delivery date

I love the shoes of course, they are perfect! The issue was with the delivery on this order. I initially got a message that my order will be delivered on a Monday the 9th of Oct '23 but then on Friday the 6th of Oct '23 evening before the set delivery date, I received communication that my order was fast-tracked and will be delivered on Saturday the 7th of Oct '23. The blunder is that I was then not able to reschedule the delivery date on the App and I was not available to receive the package and that meant running around to find someone to accept the package on my behalf.

I have been severely disappointed by the service on a few occasions, but when it is good it is good. The discounts are great and you can get really good products at a bargain. This is what keeps me coming back. On the negative side I have, for example, received the incorrect size more than I care to count, sometimes in the same order. I have also received a dilapidated pair of sneakers which was evidently destroyed by rodents with faecal matter in the box too. This was an extreme case and happened once, but I still don't understand how it could happen in the first place.

Value Proposition?

Order was placed on 21/9. On 29/9 (8 days later?) received an email saying that due to a system error 1 of the 2 items ordered was now out of stock (a measly 10% discount was offered off of next order placed reflecting how seriously Superbalist took the situation). A refund was promised at the same time however I would have to wait up to 5 days (now on day 4) for this, yet the technology exists that enabled me to make the original purchase at the touch of a few buttons. The partial delivery was eventually completed on the 2/10, 11 days after placing the original order.

Better description of pants/jeans, especially in the product name. I searched low rise jeans, and the search result returned mid rise jeans. It wasn't obvious that they were all mid rise. I ordered them and upon delivery, saw they were mid rise. Went back to website and found in obscure area the description. One of the descriptions doesn't mention at all that it is mid rise jeans. These were all Sissy boy jeans. I find the same problem with Guess jeans. From the description on the Superbalist website, it is difficult to figure out if something is low, mid or high rise.

Place an order on the 2nd of May expected delivery date was 9th May did not get it There was no communication or whatsoever I got delivery of two boxes containing 6 items Out of more than 20 items that are supposed to be on my order on the 15.05.24 Communication via email takes a day to get respons The inconsideration of your support staff to expect me to list the items i did not get Like how inconsiderate a person can be to expect that one must list 20 plus items Instead of logging on the system and check with the packaging department

I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband for Christmas. Only to find a refund was processed for the order a week later. There was no explanation and I had to contact Superbalist to find out what the reason was for the cancellation, upon enquiry I was told that there was no stock available and the order was cancelled. I had to make alternative arrangements for a present. There was no prior correspondence from Superbalist to alert me to the situation. I find this as incredibly bad customer service and I don't think I will use their service again.

I can't see what can be done. Orders not being sent, no forthcoming communication unless I reached out. Useless vouchers to "rectify" the terrible service. First item was apparently not available that I ordered, yet it was placed back in stock on the online store. Second item was apparently lost in transit - yet the status of delivery remained that it had never left their warehouse - no tracking number was ever sent for this parcel. Just all around terrible and will definitely never order again, no matter how good the pricing might seem.

Dirty Sneakers

I ordered white Converse sneakers and received a dirty pair of sneakers. I sent it back and requested an exchange. Then I received an even dirtier pair of white converse. Had to exchange it for the third time. Now I received the third pair of sneakers and they aren’t as dirty as the first two but still have minor stains on them and look a bit faded. It is extremely unprofessional that the Superbalist team thinks its acceptable to send items in that condition to their customers. I would never recommend purchasing from Superbalist to others.

Always getting orders wrong

Superbalist is always getting orders wrong and think they can just throw money at the problem. I don’t want 10% off the next order I won’t be making because you’ve made too many mistakes in the past. I also don’t want children’s brand name sneakers when I’m a size 6 woman. If you’re going to throw money at the problem, be it immediate reimbursement. At least something useful to me that I don’t have to wait over a week for. I don’t want to be disappointed again and again which seems to be standard operating procedure for Superbalist.

I received a refund due to the stock you list on your website not being available in the warehouse. I called customer care and the lady was super rude and accused me of not understanding the inner workings of an online platform. I then received a discount code to make up for the inconveince of the refund and the product not being available, but the code is not stackable on already existing promostions? I think that these codes could atleast be stackable to compensate for your faults and systems not working the wat they should.

Incorrect size, twice!

I ordered a pair of crocs and I was sent the incorrect size. Logging the exchange took days as the App kept crashing. Eventually it went through and the shoes were collected.. a new pair was delivered a week later and I received the same incorrect size. Customer service was terrible and I eventually dropped it off as a refund. I dropped it off on Sunday morning and i still havent heard anything from Superbalist to say they have received the parcel. I'd like my money back and I definitely won't be using this app again. Thanks

I sent the Jean back because it was a bit big and wanted a smaller size. Firstly I could not opt for the return drop off at a takealot point, the only option was collection from my house, meaning that I had to arrange for someone to be home for the pick up. The replacement Jean was ordered and was suddenly cancelled without anyone notifying why it was cancelled. I had to call the call centre to find out what was happening only to get an apology email and a 10% discount code which I have not used. This was so unprofessional.

Your company needs to change management Your operations department is fucked. I have ordered and the same incorrect shoe size has been delivered twice. I’m waiting for my 3rd delivery on the same shoe tomorrow. Let’s see. This is a JoKe. Your company is a joke. Till today not any superior called as the consultants promised me they would. Disgusting. Please FIRE yourselves in the operations team. Your staff is showing you fuck you signs by placing the incorrect product in shipments. Get with the program!!!!!

Please do a better inventory and provide reasons on cancelled orders

There have been many times when I ordered an item from Superbalist and the order subsequently gets cancelled with a refund being done. Better inventory needs to be done by the company to eliminate these inconveniences. There is also no reason provided as to why the order is cancelled. There has been 2 separate occasions when I have seen the item sold again within a week and although I select “notify when available” I do not get the notification from Superbalist that it’s back in stock. This has been really disappointing
