Provide more and more detailed FAQ for travellers/customers who are not regular flyers especially seniors. Many seniors no longer have or can earn enough Miles in 18 months to make flight purchases with Miles. What options are there to use these Miles otherwise? Make clear the limitations and exclusions of Promo Fares, such as lack of Multi-city option with Purchase by Miles. Give cash customers more incentives and afforable upgrade options. The Air France Flying Blue website allows for many errors in data after entering, such as not making travel companion/Flying Blue Family Member data available in the Passenger Detail screen (I had to type in the data), and then in the Travel Documents page the system put my Family Member's Passport Details and not mine from my profile. I had to add a new passport and enter my own Passport Details and then in my Family Member's profile I had to add a new passport and enter his Passport Details all over again. This makes it easy for Passport information errors to occur. I also had difficulty transferring Flying Blue Miles while logged into Air France. Instead searched Reddit for answer to get around the "Low-assurance..." message and logged into KLM website, accessed Flying Blue profile and successfully transferred the Miles from within that website. Air France should provide a fix or workaround on their website.
I was booking a ticket and I also had a voucher that I wanted to use for the booking.

This is the same voucher that Air France issued to me as a birthday gift. This is the same voucher that I was going to use Wele with the stipulated booking and the stipulated time of travel.
Yesterday morning I spoke to an Air France advisor by the name of who promised to look into the matter regarding my voucher and the ticket reference PHSTCT and get back to me, sh has not and lied to me .
She was to follow up and ensure that AIr France applied the $70 gift voucher to ticket so that I don’t have to get another voucher to purchase another ticket for another trip.
I really want that voucher to be applied on the ticket.
this voucher is valid and still within the guidelines that I should use before the 7th of September 2024 and to travel before the 1 st of June 2025.
The backstory is that I purchased the ticket on Air France and this is the booking reference PHSTCT. I had a voucher code BDCAJUNAVW
and wanted to use that voucher in my booking, but for some reason, it was not able to go through . Now given that I didn’t want to loose the ticket and the price kept increasing, I went ahead and booked it in the hope that Air France can honour the gift voucher which was still valid as of today.
This is not going to be honoured then I will cancel my ticket and I will not want to travel with Air France again because I don’t want there technical error and essentially a mistake that was not caused by me to affect me.

False/ghost bookings created accidentally
In the process of trying to figure out how much my flights + seats + bags would actually cost with different options, I left the page and it timed out. When I went back, there was a "booking" on your website, which gave me a heart attack when I saw it. I even went and bought seats for the flight that wasn't ticketed because I didn't understand what was happening. So I called customer service and they removed it.
Then after that, I was exploring multiple fare+seating options and somehow accidentally created six(!) bookings for the same flight. Then, the seat I wanted was blocked because it was connected to one of the ghost bookings. There was no way to delete them -- I had to call customer service AGAIN and get them to remove those.
Finally, I carefully booked exactly the options I wanted and now I have only one booking that includes a real ticket.
This was hugely stressful and took me a long time and I needed an explanation from customer service to understand what was happening.
As an experience designer, I think there are a few simple interface changes that can help enormously.
Perhaps the not-completed bookings could look VERY different from the completed bookings? And make it clear that an action is needed to complete them? Also, there is no way to do anything with those bookings online so one has to call customer service.
All of this interaction with customer service seems incredibly inefficient. I'm usually someone who just books flights online (e.g. at Air Canada) without talking to a human, and for one flight, I had to call you twice.
Unfortunately, this problem will make me hesitate before flying Air France again because there seems to be no way to find out the actual fare+seats+baggage total without this happening.

Customer Care and Attention
The agents at the front desk should listen more carefully to customers. I fly very often, and have purposely paid extra for luggage that is designed to fit in overhead compartments without issue. I had two bags that fit in overhead compartments with me. Both of these bags have fit in overhead compartments for hundreds of flights in Europe and North America. One of these bags has wheels, the other does not. The agent insisted that I check the bag with wheels, and carry the other one on. I explained that I had a back injury and I would be happy to check the bag with no wheels, that way I wouldn’t have to carry the other one and exacerbate my back injury. She refused to listen.
I was flying from Madrid to Vancouver with a connection in Paris. So I told the agent that the wheeled bag, that she was forcing me to check, contained items like my medication and computers that I would need that night. She assured me that I could pick up my checked bags in Paris so that wouldn’t be a problem. It was a problem because I couldn’t collect the bags in Paris, they had been sent straight to Vancouver. This flight was the most painful, uncomforbale, and inconvenient travelling experience I have ever had. Simply because an agent would not listen to, nor consider, any logic presented my me. Like I said above, I fly almost every week for work in North America, so I am very well versed in the standard protocols and luggage sizing and allowances. It’s disappointing when an agent doesn’t consider someone else’s knowledge, experience, and circumstances. VERY disappointing.

My father was admitted to the hospital in critical condition on September 13th and passed on September 17th. I had to postpone my flights from Algiers to Paris and Paris to Vancouver, but the customer care service representative cancelled my flight from Algiers to Paris. I had to buy a new ticket for just under 400 CAD. The customer service representative rebooked my flight from Paris to Vancouver, made me pay the fare difference of 390 CAD, and requested the death certificate. I submitted the hospital death report because it's in French, and the death certificate is in Arabic. He reviewed the document and confirmed it was in order. I received a request for more information the day after. I issued the death certificate and hoped I could move on to comforting my mother and dealing with the most pressing matters.

Customer Service call to 1800 ver disappointing.
I booked a premium economy fare from YVR to LIS and back. Then I went to seat selection, the first sector from YVR to AMS was free, but I got charged for seat selection for the next sector. Same for my return flight. So I called the Air France 1800 and spoke to Elena. She says seat selection is free at check in, I explained to her that I did not pay for my Premium Economy seat selection, why am I being charged foe the next sector which is an economy seat. The first call I made, the agent said she would check and hung up, so I called again, Elena did seem to get what I was asking. I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor, she said supervisors don't take call! I think supervisors should be able to answer queries. This is not customer service. Very disappointing

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of a voucher I attempted to use recently. When I tried to apply the voucher, the website said that it is non-transferable. However, this restriction was not mentioned anywhere on the voucher itself, and it was incredibly difficult to locate the relevant information in your terms and conditions.
Furthermore, when I called your customer service team for assistance, I encountered an unhelpful and rude representative (employee number T241226). The attitude and lack of professionalism were disappointing, and it made an already frustrating situation worse.

It took me 7 hours to book flight been tossed betweeb flying blue and air france. 4 people on the phone from airfrance customer service hung up while i was asking questions about airmile points. Then i spoke to a lady who was so rude and unprofessional as air france”s website kept giving me error while i was trying to book tickets. I guess this is the last time id be flying with them. I always book tickets for my parents myself and ehole family with airfrance but i guess their customer service is dipped and next time id def shop around.

Booking on line was a nightmare.
The site did not honour the reservation “time to think” option we paid for, cancelling our booking before the stated guaranteed hold time.
The site declined numerous attempts to pay using different bank credit cards with more than sufficient credit available.
No way to get assistance at 22:00 hours PDT.

Transparent pricing would be great. 3 family members booked their seats, we try to book right after them and are quoted at almost $5000 higher for the same amount of seats, same plane, one row behind. Ended up having to take a different flight. Trash.
