This has to be a mixed review. I ordered the door seal for a Hotpoint Fridge and needed additional information as the exact model was not listed. I got a very quick and competent response indicating that an Ariston part was a replacement. .. So first class response. The item was ordered and would have been caught up in Easter mail, but it's delivery times from Germany to Ireland was very credible ..again first class or close. Now it gets a little tricky .. it has the same dimensions, nominally but is slightly different . It seems the plastic bead in the seal used to grip the groove in the door is either a tiny bit thinner or more pliable than the original , so that getting a good seal is worse than the original in which the bead is more rigid So Sorry..

Before ordering a part from FixPart, I checked that the model number of my device was compatible with the part on their website however when it arrived it did not fit as it was too small. I contacted Fixpart who sent me a label for returning it but told €18 would be deducted from my refund if I use it (or I could pay separately to send it back myself). I explained, and provided evidence that, in such cases where I didn’t change my mind about the purchase but the item was not as described on their website and therefore not fit for purpose, in accordance with my consumer rights I should not have to pay for the return. They then said I had not sufficiently proven that the model of the device I own is the incompatible model. However the proof they asked for is unreasonable since it does not exist – they want a photo of the device with the detailed model number. This number is not printed on the device. I sent the only possible proof, namely a photo of the device with a higher level over-arching model number, my proof of purchase with the detailed model number and a photo demonstrating that the part does not fit. I genuinely cannot understand why the company are refusing to honour my consumer rights in this matter at this point and it is very disappointing. This was a simple mistake on their website which could easily be resolved by them but for reasons I can’t understand it seems to be more important to them to unfairly claw some money for shipping from me than to resolve it honestly, to leave me with a good customer experience and prevent me feeling the need to warn others about my experience in this review. Since I know my consumer rights, I am now taking actions beyond this company to recover my money. In the meantime I hope this review helps to prevent others from getting caught like I did. There are plenty of decent, honest online retailers out there so I really encourage people to avoid this one.

Well I eventually got my part after about a month first of all, it took two weeks to get a Reply saying they had the part and then it was approximately two weeks before I received it. They had the wrong house number on the package. I live number five and they had 15, I eventually received it anyway everything is okay. For such a small item, sticking it in an envelope and put a stamp on it, it probably would have got here quicker. I thought it was a little expensive as well €32 Edward travers

Part I got is the wrong size, nowhere in the process did I have an opportunity to check it, as in specs on the part not provided. Shipping €10 for a tiny envelope ridiculous. I’m down €20 and the things not fixed - ripped off and don’t have the energy to do anything about it. Fuck you - I won’t use you again, please delete whatever data you have on me and don’t contact me again. Thanks Rob

Bosch washing machine dampers do not fit. WAE28363GB102. Drum must be removed to fit these dampers or hacksaw off the top anchors. Economical with the truth ... you should have told the use this. pig in a poke! Then with packing open i may not get my full refund ... lousey stuff.

The part I ordered was forty euro on the Miele website less than a year ago. You charged double that price which is after all a piece of foam cut in a certain shape. I did not realise that I had ordered the filter from non Miele outfit. I think it was daylight robbery but I needed the product. It also took longer than I expected to reach me. Not a very satisfactory event from my perspective.

Photos might be a bit clearer. I chose a product by mistake which is too small. The delivery person just threw the packet inside the front door with the result that the dog thought it was a toy and chewed the packaging! Not your fault of course but the product cannot be sent back and I have to order a new one! Other than that the service was good - quick delivery!

Original order arrived damaged - replacement also arrived damaged

Original order arrived damaged, your customer service team were very helpful and organised a replacement freezer drawer. Alas, when the replacement drawer arrived it was also damaged (cracked). If the drawers are so susceptible to damage in shipping, will they survive daily use in a domestic freezer? Are they "fit for purpose"

Re non delivery of my order

Re: Order No. 202301961819 On a weekly basis since my purchase on 4 September I am getting a 'delivery delayed' message. My payment went through to you a month ago but I have not received my product. When will I get it, if ever. If not I will have to issue a legal case against Fix Part to reclaim my money. Please advise.

An incorrect part was delivered. Have tried to contact them fixpart.ie about getting the correct part no answer is forthcoming days delay in getting a response, in the meantime my oven is inoperable. Have to decide to go to another parts company, therefore need a reply to my e-mail to consumer service.

Great selection of products, very slow delivery!

While the product is great, the shipping estimates are very questionable. Further, I was only informed of such delays when contacting customer service - with the product order in October and not received until mid-December - with the website noting the product was immediately available for shipping.

Ordered the part on 1/2 November. It’s now 1 dec and I have not received the part plus I’m getting a review to review something I have not received. Very poor. I contact you over 2 wks ago to see where my part was, only to be told it wasn’t in stock. I would not have know this only I contacted you.

Glad I found a replacement for my mother fridge but completely overpriced. €44 for the drawer door!! And €5 for postage which wasn't bad, but overall cost €49 for a little door is just day light robbery. Bar that the company appears to be very professional and provide very good email updates.

I ordered the part on the 28/12/2023, its 13 days later and still has not arrived

I ordered the part on the 28/12/2023, they said it was to take 1-3 days to arrive. It is now 12 days later and it still has not arrived. I contacted customer service who pointed me to a DHL link that was not updated 7 days later. I've never experienced such poor response from any supplier.

Damaged goods delivered

I ordered 4 freezer drawers mid November, two drawers arrived badly broken. Following many emails to and from Fix Part, 2 replacement drawers arrived late January. It would have been helpful to get the go ahead quickly, to dispose of the broken drawers, it was a long drawn out process.

First attempt at delivery failed, allegedly due to insufficient address which wasn't true. I provided all details. Second attempt was successful but had to pay for delivery again 8.95 euro! Fridge item fits perfectly nut what a long process. Should have used DHL the first time round.

Customer service very poor. Asked for assistance to help to pick right items got answer after a day. My oven is broken. Can't wait even a day. I have a small home baking business. One order was spliced in 2. The part witch is not so important came in first. Still waiting for a door.

I send 10 email. 4 hours after my order ...because my order it was wrong by me.but they never answered and nobody try to support or help me to change this order with correct...very bad costumer support. Result ....I have wrong part ..I never use this ...because it's wrong...bad 😞

Disappointed

Ordered a part for a dryer - the part arrived damaged due to poor packaging. Another one was sent out for free but it does not fit correctly as the original did, the part sits in the door loosely. For the price of the part, o would expect a perfect fit just like the OEM part.
