Very nice luggage and the Proline range is high quality. I ordered 3 bags for a Porsche Boxster and we initially had an issue as one bag was a different fabric to the other two resulting in a different appearance, but car-bags immediately sent a new package of 3 identical bags and accepted the return costs for the initial package - very fast email responses and great customer service throughout. UK customers need to beware of the additional import duty charges at approx 20% but that's a UK Brexit issue (one of many!)

I wanted to buy a set for my Mondeo HEV. I asked about the fit and they did send me the measurements. No, the Mondeo set does not fit a Mondeo HEV. I measured the space and worked out what I needed (individual bags). I then asked if they would honour the price of the set rather than me spending more for individual bags - no, because apparently that wouldn't be fair! Despite my better judgment I ordered the bags. After a week I noticed that the order was with the courier but hadn't moved. I got in contact with car-bags.com who said they would look into it and let me know - they didn't get back in touch. A few days later I checked again to be told that my bags were actually due to be delivered that day. A few hours later I got a message that they had been delivered and signed for by someone I'd never heard of. I messaged car-bags.com - no response. They later sent me a separate email telling me that the bags had been returned to them for "some unknown reason". I asked for a refund - no response. I raised a complaint and they referred me to a previous email that they'd sent - don't know why. I asked again for a refund. I also asked for them to be mindful that I was paying transaction fees and currency fluctuates - no response. They did refund me quickly, but no view on the charges, no apology no suggestion on how to fix things/ Really poor and I am €40 out of pocket for absolutely nothing to show for it. And finally, paying VAT twice? Please refer to the UK customs website - the only people allowed to charge VAT for imports is the UK government. If your system can't deduct VAT then you should be raising a partial refund to avoid being accused of tax fraud. I would not recommend this company which is a real shame because their products actually look really good.

Good day, We have checked what went wrong with your order. You have asked us where your order is. We responded within 12 hours by sending you an email with a tracking link. Your order was indeed returned a few days later for a reason unknown to us. We have also informed you of this and asked whether you still want to receive the order. You indicate in an email that you no longer wish to receive the order and we will refund you the same day. We cannot refund more than you paid to us with our system. We do not give a discount on 4 separate trolley bags, because we do not think it is fair to our other customers. We have a fair price for our products and everyone pays the same price. The VAT is indicated in advance during the ordering process. You have been informed of all ordering and payment conditions before you order. We are very sorry that you experience our communication negatively. We can do no more than inform you as best as possible and answer your questions honestly.
