I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Staff was courteous and flight was fine even though it was delayed. The food was like prison food. The noodles were hard like break your teeth hard and inedible. The side dishes, rolls and everything was really bad. I wish I would have grabbed food before getting on the plane.

I needed the English language site but it assumed that I was traveling from the US when I actually needed to book a European flight only. It was tricky to get that initiated but once I was able the booking went routinely, well... routinely for our current marketing methods!

We tried our first credit card twice and the transaction was denied. We called the credit card company and there was ample credit on the card to cover the transaction. They had no record of the transaction so it was denied by Air France’s credit processor.

Web site not user friendly

It was very difficult to get my trip booked. Every time I clicked into the website the prices and availability changed. It took me over an hour to book one round trip, and I still didn’t get what I wanted, but decide to go with something less than desired.

Easy Booking

So far, I have only booked my flight. I only could four stars because every time I had to switch over to text someone about the flight and then come back, I had to start the search all over again. I will rate Air France again once I have taken my flight.

The website was ok, but it was frustrating after I signed up with Blue for the discount, couldnt find the same flight, then I lost the 10% coupon offer, could not be applied. Had to repeat the process to find my original flight with no discount code

Only two issues using website. First, difficult to make meal selections without knowing menu for particular flight. Second, when choosing seats, it was difficult to know leg spacing and entertainment availability when facing a bulkhead.

The cost is outrageous for checked bags, but this not only AF. Waiting for airlines to again offer free checked bag as an incentive to be loyal to only airline for us frequent international flyers

Comfortable seats. Great service.

The seats were comfortable for a flight from Paris to Chicago. In-flight entertainment was excellent. Stewards and stewardesses were kind and thoughtful. Air France is my favorite airline.

Easy booking system

Easy booking even for partner flight. I was able to book flight less than 2 days prior to departure which was impossible with other alliance. It will be better if seat can be selected.

Very inflexible about the weight of carry on luggage. Even if you just go over 1 lb, they let you check in the carry on luggage. Plus, I don’t think the workers are very friendly.

Easy and clear and PayPal accepted.

The process was easy and clear. Good that PayPal was accepted. I particularly liked that a previous travel credit i had showed up unexpectedly just before I finalized my payment.

I have not yet taken my flight. But many of your flights have very long lay-over in Isle de Paris. Not enough direct. But you are generous w/ carry-on bag, thanks from Morocco.
