I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Pls reimburse us for your threat

Our family has used Air France exclusively while traveling within Europe. When our daughter first studied abroad, we were comforted knowing that her flight would be on time and she would feel safe. She is a Flying Blue member. However, on her last flight, an error was made on the part of the booking agent. She called me from the gate crying. The Air France agent yelled at her to stop crying and to go away, but she would not release her passport. When my danger reached for it, the agent refused to return it and threatened that she would not fly "at all" that day. Upset and worried, we had to buy her a new ticket to Paris from another airport. She needed to take an expensive taxi ride then to get there. I submitted a complaint and a request for reimbursement of the new ticket. I felt my complaint was not even read since the reply only addressed the original ticket bought through the booking agent, not the ticket purchased directly from Air France. Attached: original flight information CDG to LIN and LIN to CDG- 20:35 (needs reimbursement) change of flight confirmation LIN to CDG 9:30 new flight because she was threatened that she could not fly from LIN the entire day -- MXP to CDG (needs reimbursement)

Issue me a ticket with the same amount $1217 , I have sent an email to the Air France board about the unfortunate issue I experienced. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience I had with Air France. Yesterday, I made a reservation for a flight and spent several hours communicating with your customer service team via WhatsApp to secure my seat arrangements. To my dismay, I discovered the following day that the final leg of my journey had been cancelled. In addition, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $600 to book an alternative destination. Given that I have already paid for my original ticket, I find it unreasonable to incur further costs for a replacement route. I kindly request that Air France provide an alternative for my original itinerary at no additional cost, considering the circumstances. I would appreciate it if you could expedite this matter and assist me in securing a resolution that aligns with the original fare I paid. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I spend about 6 hours to make a payment on change of flight . Airfrance payment was not working for some reason tried visa, master card. But most frustrating was to deal with customer service: instead of helping they where pushing me to pay hundreds of dollars more, despite I was still in the windows of 6 hours given to take care of payment ( had e mail) After hours being in the phone and getting blames and lectures from customer service rep/ Supervisor who were somewhere I am guessing in Philippine, finally they allowed me to make a payment on the phone instead of e mail link with the price that was closer to original, after 4 different credit/ debit cards it went through. Ps. I called my banks several times no transaction was showing in their side. Horrible experience with precious time wast on basic function. Hoping my flying would be better.

The booking process after flight selection was complicated. Seat selection for the flights was difficult and the fair basis for the seat selection was invalid and incorrect based on what was described and what the seat selection already allowed. For eg I was made to pay for my seat even though I booked Premium economy which should not have been the case. Making a change to the booking was difficult - it asked for seat selection all over again with higher prices, and once selected, could not be completed. When I called Air France the next day to try to get this fixed, they had no record for the extra I had paid for the seat selection at the time or original booking. I had to call Air France

I purchased a business class upgrade and arrived at the airport to get assigned a new seat number. I was told that there was no longer a seat and that I will need to fly in economy but that I could wait at the gate until everybody boarded the flight. I did this And sure enough two passengers deboarded the flight from Business cabin opening up two seats. I asked to be put in one of the two seats and was refused to do so. The staff said that I was issued a refund (which I wasn’t) that they would not reissue the transaction. I paid for a business class seat, now sitting in economy even though the seat I paid for is empty. I will never fly Air France again if this is not made Right

Ticket rules

Detailed ticket rules are not immediately apparent. Seat availability would be best viewed before selecting flight. Customer Service is useless if you need assistance with refunds, rule questions etc. All complex issues must be dealt with via a Claim which takes forever to handle. Air France customer service structure is the worst that I've ever experienced with any carrier both US and foreign. Claim is sent to a "handling agent" who doesn't respond so another claim needs to be sent the that agent's supervisor who takes weeks to get to the the claim. The bottom line is that it takes 1-2 months to resolve a problem.

I paid for one bag each for my daughter and myself. They both were out under my name. I've called customer service twice Ave asked them to remedy this and both times been denied, this is Unsatisfactory! Also, i was told that my Flying Blue miles and my Sky Miles from Delta would be added to my account for flyer reward miles, but when I called to add my daughter's I was told NO that not only were mine not added but that they were not able to add hers nor mine, that I must contact Delta Airlines and that there's nothing they can do about the fluting Blue numbers.

This was a horrible experience. We booked tickets on Saturday for a Sunday flight and were provided locator code. Credit card was charged. Arrived at airport Sunday only to find no actual ticket was issued because apparently the credit cards charges are not processed on weekend. Had to buy another ticket at the airport. Please be sure our credit card charge does not process since Air France was not able to fulfill the flight.

1st time flying airfrance and probably the last

In Y when food is served, please make sure the staff ask the customer in front to put their seat to the normal position. The ibis styles hotel which was provided after a missed connection to a delay was a very poor hotel, the food was terrible. However, the service was generally good alespecially at customer service when I explained about the delay and missed connection (although the should be standard)

Customer service representative don’t provide assistance with changing flights.No one takes the time to listen to customers needs. I was told to call back because the representative advised she could only look up three flights.. This is unfair to customers and forces the customers to o choose whatever is offered to them to avoid the ticket price going higher.

When you purchase a coach seat at the airfare price listed and then have to pay extra for that seat you purchased. I find that to be cheating the customer. Offer one price and then continually charge extra for everything , including the seat they are purchasing.. Low corporate standard for an airline i enjoy flying....

One agent at the counter that’s very dismissive so Terrible service at the airport counter. Terrible service on Air France’s help line. It’s hard to know what to do when the counter tells you to call the help line to rebook and the help line tells you to goto the Air France counter and rebook.

Not nice and unsafe

I bought two tickets and they were cancelled because of no reason. So had to call and make anothe reservation paying more money ( comistions on the reservation.)
