I wanted summer flats that cover my toes, are made of leather, because textile falls apart too quickly, and are still airy for hot summer days. And of course are still stylish. These checked all the boxes. I wear a lot of vintage and vintage inspired clothes and these never look out of place. I have no jeans, but I would argue they look good with that too. They are sturdy but not stiff. They need hardly any breaking in. I covered them in unscented body lotion from inside and wore them around the house for an hour. Then went out for half a day and had no problems. I am so happy I bought them and I hope to wear them for years to come.

Even though the shoes were delivered quickly and they are attractive looking, there is such a strong chemical smell emanating from them that I have had them outside since they were delivered. Perhaps it is the dyes used as the shoes are multi and brightly coloured.
