I have been ordering from Nordic Nest for quite a number of years and have always found their service to be very satisfactory. My last order, early in December, was for my Christmas gifts to family and friends. The order never came and when I contacted Nordic Nest as it got very close to Christmas I was told that the parcel had been lost. They said that some of the items were no longer available but that they would send the rest of the order but not in time for Christmas delivery. I asked for credit for the 2 out of stock items and that was agreed. Last week I received a box in the post containing a tiny box of candles ( originally cancelled because out of stock) and then t2 days ago I got the rest of my order. It contained some of the Christmas items ( napkins and decoration) that are no use until next Christmas. I had to go out at the last moment before Christmas to buy a different set of gifts. My main complaint is that Nordic Nest should have been aware on their tracking system that the parcel was not delivered and contacted me in time for me to cancel and get some time to shop for gifts. Bought some wine glasses but they were too big for us, and I tried to return them. It was such a hassle to do that I kept the glasses and gave them to the charity shop.

Make sure deliveries are made. I have waited since August 1, 2024 for an order. I have contacted DHL, USPS and Nordic Nest and have not gotten a response AT ALL. Never again will I waste $100 - and not even get the courtesy of a response!

Not worth the money or hassle

The cushion box is a flat pack which is not indicated on the website and not what I expected for price. We asked if it was waterproof and even with the liner it isnt.The delivery arrangements were a shambles. In spite asking for the delivery to be made after we returned from holiday the dispatch department sent it to the transport company anyway. They phoned me on holiday and I phoned them back and managed to rearrange the delivery with them.

I placed an order of a Staub that would take 3 weeks to arrive. so far, all ok. Then I received a notification that the parcel was delivered successfully. I was on holidays I could not check it up. After a few days I received a second email saying that you received back the parcel from me and that the refund was being processed ... how is that possible...?? I contacted customer services and instead of receiving a solution ( a kind apology would have been nice too ) this person insisted I shoud have checked my tracking number...which was not the issue. After she understood that it was not a mistake from my side the only option I was given was to buy it again for a higher price and contact customer services to explain all over again so you could refund me the difference... Over all the experience was so frustrating and disappointing that I decided to find this product elsewhere. I always enjoyed buying and browsing from your website but your customer service is on a total different level.

The fabrication and materials of the lamp are cheap and weak. The lamp came with a European plug which I was not expecting and annoyed me as I clearly live in the UK. It was very hard to put a bulb into the fixture and I’m not looking forward to ever changing it over because the access is so tight. When I investigated the returns policy on the website I could see I was going to have to pay for the posting back to mainland Europe where the stock comes from. I emailed the company to test their response but I could see it was all going to go nowhere and be very unsatisfactory. I’ve kept the lamp. If you want a lamp that looks good, but feels cheap and plasticky, impossible to change the bulb and requires a transformer to power in the mains - then this one is for you!

Incorrect delivery times quoted in website.

Your website stated the throw I ordered would be delivered in 2/3 weeks. This was in good time for Christmas. However when I enquired I was told the 2/3 weeks quoted was when the item would be received into your warehouse in Sweden. I should then expect a further 7/10 working days for receipt in the U.K. The throw was a Christmas present for my daughter and arrived after I had left for the Christmas break. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. You have quoted incorrect delivery times on your website which meant I did not have a Christmas present for my daughter. An extremely unhappy customer.

Hopeless company.my order of 3 baking tins has still not arrived after nearly 2 months.They sent generic email to ask my if I was happy with my purchase,not even realising I had not received them.Very apologetic but i had to down load ,print out and sign a form to state I had not received the items,then take a photo and email it back to them.That was last week and still nothing.Would not recommended this company and will not be buying from them again.I need these to make my son's birthday cake and our Christmas cake but both those plans are now having to be changed.Nof impressed at all.

Lovely product selection and prices are attractive, however the delivery times and customer service are shocking. We had countless problems and have been waiting for some items for over 6 months even though during the time of the order they were advertised as 2 -4 weeks. We had items that never turned up after a 3 months wait, items that arrived damaged, items that got lost in the post and then it took over a month and countless emails and calls to get a refund back even though the delivery company admitted loosing the item.

Over one month waiting, two failed deliveries

very poor delivery experience, had ordered for a Christmas present in the end of November and our delivery stopped getting tracked after the first week of December. Turns out our parcel got lost, Nordic nest sent our delivery again which didn’t arrive to us and instead got sent back to the supplier for no reason. In the end we didn’t get the items even by early January which is where we just requested a refund instead of risking a third failed delivery and orderded the same goods elsewhere.

Nordic Nest ist nicht in der Lage eine hinterlegte Versandadresse zu einer DHL Packstation so zu benutzen, wie sie im Kundenkonto hinterlegt ist. Es wird NIE die Postnummer eingefügt, auch nicht trotz mehrerer emails und Erklärungen warum die Postnummer zwingend notwendig ist für eine korrekte Zustellung eines Paketes an die Packstation. So etwas habe ich bisher niemals erlebt! Das Paket wurde mehrmals von DHL zurückgeschickt. Eine absolute Zumutung.

We ordered 4 chairs in the Black Friday sales and the first ones came damaged. UPS uplifted the worst 2 chairs and the replacement chairs were re-delivered by UPS after Xmas, yes, the same chairs they collected before Xmas! The next day Parcelforce delivered what was probably the real replacement chairs. After emailing back and forth we were told to dispose of the chairs ourselves. What a complete waste of resources and our time. Very disappointed.
