I like the fact that Superbalist really cater for the plussize woman. All too often plussize clothing are outdated, frumpy and just not nice. We also struggle with trendy styles, things are nit true to size etc but Superbalist has really delivered 70% of the time so far. There is a lot they can improve on since the South African market has a lot of potential for plussize woman.
Another BIG issue is finding boots for people with big calves. I have big calves and have to buy my boots from the UK cause NOWHERE in SA I can find them. Otherwise I have to take them to someone who then adds a piece of leather so they can fit me. I bought a pair from the Butterfly label (my fav because the shoes are always so comfortable) and they fit beautiful till I have to zip it closed. I have always been disappointed with knee hight boots in South Africa.

Delivery was late. Seems like it was only attended to once I contacted you guys to complain.
Then I was told that one of my items was not available even though the app showed that it was.
You guys sent me a 20% discount which was not much less than the discount I would have received on the dress and now the dress in my size is sold out.
Very bad service. This has happened before and I've overlooked it but this problem doesn't seem to be addressed. I've also noticed other customers complaining about the same thing. So not impressed

Terrible customer service
Spoken to multiple people for the return of some dress I didn’t order. Spoke to multiple people regarding the return policy and having the dress collected. Getting shoved around on that. Speaking to multiple different people about the collection address even offering to drop the dress off. Complete unconvinced to me as the customer to opted for collection at no one is home during the day!!! And still has not been resolved.

Delayed delivery issues
Delivery of products took longer thank expected.The products were to be delivered in the 3rd of April 2024 but were delivered on the 5th of April. From my understanding the delivery address was not appearing for the driver. I understand such things happen at times but it is inconvenient and disappointing.
Based on previous orders tho was an exception as delivery is usually on time.
I received all my products in perfect condition, thank you.

Superbalist used to be great but recently I have been getting wrong sizes delivered, also got sold out of stock items (system did not update stock levels) and the process to get funds refunded is tedious, I had to prove that I paid for these items that were not delivered, by sending bank statements. That was unnecessary admin for me.
Please also stock more of UK size 35 on shoes, its very difficult to find these sizes for small feet like me.

There are too many crop options and not enough normal or longer length options that are affordable.
Additionally, the selection of ladies footwear is alos a bit limited in terms of sizing. Not all size 3's were created equal - meaning, often high heels need to be a size smaller, particularly if the shoe is in a pointed style. Women in general are built smaller, the starting sizes for shoes need to be smaller, and not cost an arm and a leg

Their products are nice and are of decent quality but I had a bad experience with their exchanges.
They sent the wrong colour item to me and when I asked for an exchange they sent the same one back. Their returns are simple and reliable though which is good but I just never know how it’ll go with my orders.
The size of the clothing is also confusing, even with the use of the size guide. Probably just a bad idea to buy clothing online.

Wrong size AGAIN
I ordered a jean on 30 April. I ordered a size UK 10. You for some reason delivered a UK8 to me. This will obviously not fit me and its not what I ordered. I arranged that you come and collect the jean so we can exchange it for the correct size. Guess what, you AGAIN delivered the wrong size?????? You again gave me a UK8. You arranged for a jean to be picked up and you delivered the same jean again. Really? Now you are wasting my time.

Had the worse experience I first got my parcel and it was open also dirty with one pillowcase missing and they did an exchange only for me to get the parcel with a missing pillowcase again and they asked me to return it again and tried justifying that their negligence by saying I should return it again for the second time , very unprofessional and they still failed to reassure me that I’ll get it with both pillowcases this time around

Service gets worse every year
I pay additional money for fast shopping with a week and a half before I needed it. Due to human error AGAIN (for the 4th time ive ordered from you) I had to make due. The shoes were cheap and handbag was rippign after wearing ti on day 2.
If I had the whole week after I received order I would have returned it all.
Catch a a,ekit;vij4 wake up. This service aint the only once around and is losing a lot of gravity. Trek sokkies op.

Not convenient enough platform, absolutely horrible customer service.
The platform is not keeping up with the digital age. A person should be able to change any order related information (i.e, delivery address, contact details etc) at any point after placing an order and the order gets re-routed to the correct location, the fact that it does not do that keeps me begging for some worthwhile competition so the Superbalist team can actually wake up and make improvements for a better customer expereince.

Poor service and poor quality
Your systems have errors and your clothes are of low quality especially for Style republic and cherry melon. I bought the brands previously and they got torn with one wash and the red styled flowered republic pants got torn while I was wearing it . I’m so disappointed in your service for the lates purchase that I made. The error was from your inventory and you couldn’t fix it instead I’m the one who has to endure the consequences.

1. I was delivered the wrong size;
2. then when you call the calls are dropped
3. I changed the collection & you came to the wrong address TWICE
4. Then when i got confirmation of the exchange, it was STILL the wrong size, despite calls AND emails
5. BUT your people still tried to drop off the wrong size GAIN
6. So, I had to CANCEL the order.
Basically, ive list ALL confidence in your services.

Ghost in the machine
I had a great relationship with Superbalist but rover the last several months something has gone awry with their system, my items arrive either 2 sizes too small or it's a totally different garment. My reasons on my exchange request form are totally ignored because the wrong items are exchanged for the exact same wrong items. I tried a number of times with no success so I have given up and am now parting ways with Superbalist.

I bought and paid for an expensive perfume recently. Waited 2 days and then went to check if I could track my delivery and discovered that my order was cancelled. I had not received any notification thereof. I called the call centre and was told that their inventory was incorrect and there was no stock available... Days after I was told this, the item was still available for purchase on your website - quite unacceptable!!

Exchange items or add bold messages to unreturnable items
Exchange items that don’t fit your clients and if you have a policy where you won’t exchange certain items then when your clients are ordering those specific items make it very clear that these items cannot be returned, put a big clear sign next to those items that they will not be returned. Don’t put it in small writing under terms and conditions. Put it in bold writing next to the specific items that won’t be returned.

Disappointed in your service
I ordered two chairs, they didn’t update me on delayed delivery and then when I enquired via email, I didn’t receive a response until 2 days later. I followed up by phone and then the next day they cancelled my order and said they didn’t have stock. I waited so long and their service was awful. All they offered was a 10% discount on next order. They better “up their game” or else they won’t last with Amazon’s arrival

Problem with inventory
The last 2 of my 3 orders have had items credited due to "inventory issues" and when I check on the site (I did so this morning) the item is available for purchase, but at a higher price. Won't easily order from Superbalist again as I feel I can't trust them to deliver what I order at the price advertised. The 10% offered on the next purchase is just not going to cut it - please get your house in order Superbalist!

My experience...
I love superbalist and I order quite often however I would be careful when ordering shoes cause their sizes aren't normal, I ordered with the help of their sizing charts and still it was incorrect . I ordered a size 8 shoe and when it arrived it didn't even fit a size 5 foot.
The second issue is when an item is out of stock they do not inform you, they allow you to proceed with payment and then offer you a credit.

I like the fact that I can return items that don't fit. I have not received my refunds of last few purchases yet and it has been more than a week.
I like the variety but find it difficult to filter down to boys clothing in appropriate ages as I have three sons. I end up having to scroll through many pages to find what I want.
The delivery team is great.
Sizing of certain stockists is not on par with local shops.

I am not have with the black and white wrap around dress I bought. I cannot belive the a thread was used to button up. The inside of a dress. I would have expected that a lastic would have been used as a button hole or a string could have been used. I am not happy or please with the dress and the thread broke. Now I need to fix it and make a button hole for a dress whose value is very high even if it was on sale.

Slow and poor service …
The delivery of products is so slow that it outweighs the convenience of ordering online. Packages arrive in multiple boxes all individually covered in plastic, so unnecessary. Customer service was poor when I reported that my products were due to be delivered to my old address, they couldn't even help me courier to my new address if I paid extra. Not worth the hassle, I'd rather shop at a Mall than Superbalist.
