Provide more and more detailed FAQ for travellers/customers who are not regular flyers especially seniors. Many seniors no longer have or can earn enough Miles in 18 months to make flight purchases with Miles. What options are there to use these Miles otherwise? Make clear the limitations and exclusions of Promo Fares, such as lack of Multi-city option with Purchase by Miles. Give cash customers more incentives and afforable upgrade options. The Air France Flying Blue website allows for many errors in data after entering, such as not making travel companion/Flying Blue Family Member data available in the Passenger Detail screen (I had to type in the data), and then in the Travel Documents page the system put my Family Member's Passport Details and not mine from my profile. I had to add a new passport and enter my own Passport Details and then in my Family Member's profile I had to add a new passport and enter his Passport Details all over again. This makes it easy for Passport information errors to occur. I also had difficulty transferring Flying Blue Miles while logged into Air France. Instead searched Reddit for answer to get around the "Low-assurance..." message and logged into KLM website, accessed Flying Blue profile and successfully transferred the Miles from within that website. Air France should provide a fix or workaround on their website.
I was booking a ticket and I also had a voucher that I wanted to use for the booking.
Every time I try to process the ticket, The voucher did not work. So I would have to start the whole process again of booking a new ticket and during that time there was always a price increase from the previous time had tried. To keep on paying for a higher price, I decided to just purchase the ticket in the hope that Air France will owner my voucher. This is the same voucher that Air France issued to me as a birthday gift. This is the same voucher that I was going to use Wele with the stipulated booking and the stipulated time of travel.
Yesterday morning I spoke to an Air France advisor by the name of who promised to look into the matter regarding my voucher and the ticket reference PHSTCT and get back to me, sh has not and lied to me .
She was to follow up and ensure that AIr France applied the $70 gift voucher to ticket so that I don’t have to get another voucher to purchase another ticket for another trip.
I really want that voucher to be applied on the ticket.
this voucher is valid and still within the guidelines that I should use before the 7th of September 2024 and to travel before the 1 st of June 2025.
The backstory is that I purchased the ticket on Air France and this is the booking reference PHSTCT. I had a voucher code BDCAJUNAVW
and wanted to use that voucher in my booking, but for some reason, it was not able to go through . Now given that I didn’t want to loose the ticket and the price kept increasing, I went ahead and booked it in the hope that Air France can honour the gift voucher which was still valid as of today.
This is not going to be honoured then I will cancel my ticket and I will not want to travel with Air France again because I don’t want there technical error and essentially a mistake that was not caused by me to affect me.

Th website returned error messages multiples times while trying to make the reservation.
Moreover, the price increased by a couple of hundreds of dollars between my first trial and final booking.
Given that the purpose of my trip is to accompany my mom who just spent 4 days at the hospital while visiting to make sure she is alright, and not for leisure, the ticket price being almost 3 times a normal price (my spouse travelled for just over $700 to France back in August), we are extremely disappointed in our experience in these already stressful situation where the insurance had to coordinate the return ticket extension for my mom and insist that my trip be at my own expense when they initially considered sending medical aid to travel with her!
Would appreciate if Air France could make a gesture to accommodate us and partially refund my ticket, and I’d be happy to send proof for my mom situation.

Problems dealing with Air France/KLM concerning car seat in Business Class
Dealing with Air France/KLM concerning using a car seat for an infant in business class has been painful. I have dealt with 6 agents over the phone, AMX travel, emails and via WhatsApp. I have received different information on what I can do. This booking was on a KLM B787-10 flight out of Toronto. I was informed that we can use a car seat and then was informed I can’t.
I am told I can’t bring and use a car seat on any AF flights out of Toronto in business class.
I now received an email that states I can bring a car seat in business class on KLM A330 flight out of Toronto. But the email I received refers to exit row conditions and seat reclining conditions. There are no exit rows or reclining seats in business class that a car seat can impact.
It appears that AF/KLM has no idea what is allowed.
I am still not certain what I can do.

Awful experience booking that cost me extra $$ and made me leave from a different airport for same price
I wasn’t able to book on the website as it kept not working. I had several exchanges with customer service as the price kept changing. When it was finally the lowest price and I was booking, i was cut off. Then I spoke to an agent who basically told me I was lying that I was in the process of booking and that I could only have a more expensive ticket. He said I obviously wasn’t going to book and hung up on me. I finally found a similar price the following morning but from a different airport which now requires me to travel a day in advance and pay for a hotel to fly from the other airport. Finally, I had a birthday discount code and the webpage would not accept it either. Worst flight booking experience in my life and I fly a lot for work!

Bought "Flex", but shown as "non-changeable and non-refundable" on My Bookings
When I was booking, I made sure to choose "Flex" and I made sure the tickets conditions were "Changeable and Refundable".
Yet, after I booked, the tickets were shown as "Non-changeable and non-refundable". I contacted customer service, who said my tickets were indeed "Changeable and Refundable", so there was likely "un bug d'affichage" on My Bookings.
I was not reassured, so I decided it would be safest to cancel everything within the first 24 hours.
There should not be a discrepancy like this when people spend thousands of dollars and are willing to pay extra for "Flex", but then end up only confused and worried. It also cost me time with the back-and-forth.

Issue booking
So, I when attempting to book my flight to Aalborg from Calgary I kept on running to issues at the payment screen. My outbound flight for my son and I was $1700(all prices are in Canadian) and the return flight was at around $2300. This issue happened 3 times until I decided I had enough and logged out and logged back in. When I logged back in I saw that the base price for my flight on my outbound leg went up by $9.00(no big deal) but the price on my return leg went up by $500.00. Not very impressed because I would have spent more money on upgrading to premium comfort since it is my sons first trip overseas and I want him to be comfortable.

The web site is eye-catching but it can be very frustrating to use and to actually find what you are looking for. It's not unusual to find yourself going round in circles with every attempt to find something resulting in it opening a new web page that looks exactly the same as the one you started with.
(I wish I had taken a screenshot for you of the 7 or 8 open web pages last week)
Another issue is that of failure to complete a booking. This happened to me last week. I made a reservation, confirmed the passengers and contact info but then ran into a roadblock when it said "technical issue" so I had to call to complete the booking.

I am totally upset with your dumb website and fare system. I made a reservation on March 4 YOW-CDG-MXP for April 6 and MXP-AMS-YYZ-YOW for April 21. The original flight from CDG to MXP on April 7 AF1830 at 8:45 had to be changed to AF1130 the same day April 7. When I went to the site to make the change the same day, I selected to change the departure flight YOW-CDG-MXP then I selected the right connection AF1130, I selected FLEX Premium Economy option the same day, then I saved and received a TKT. Now I have found that for some strange reason the conditions of return portion changed to NON-REFUNDABLE when originally was refundable...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of a voucher I attempted to use recently. When I tried to apply the voucher, the website said that it is non-transferable. However, this restriction was not mentioned anywhere on the voucher itself, and it was incredibly difficult to locate the relevant information in your terms and conditions.
Furthermore, when I called your customer service team for assistance, I encountered an unhelpful and rude representative (employee number T241226). The attitude and lack of professionalism were disappointing, and it made an already frustrating situation worse.

That fucking flight was canceled we were rebooked and our bags were lost for 4 days!! Probably the worst flight experience of my entire 60 year life. We arrived 9 hours later than scheduled after waiting for 3 hours for lost baggage help from a third party lost and found at our final destination While my bags we were my Tablet was stolen from my lost bag. I am looking for full refund and delay compensation. Now I have to jump thru hoops for that while I am on vacation. Negative ten stars would be generous. Please help me resolve this NIGHTMARE

Unjustified cancelation of my confirmed booking!
I booked a ticket for my mom online (directly through the Airfrance website) and received an e-ticket that confirms her booking! Then around 12 hours later, I received an email stating that her booking was canceled and that the money will be returned to my card. I called the airline, i waited over 45 mins on the line until an agent answered, and then she tells me she doesn't know why that happened and there's nothing she can do for me! What a shame! I definitely expected a much higher level of professionalism from an airline like Airfrance!

I ha an enormous amount of problem opening a fly blue account. Issues with the questionnaire creating error, or simply not completing at the end. Really frustrating, took me tones of time to open account. Also the seat selection doesn’t have a cancel button ( one I can find at least), had to back and refill a bunch of stuff. Overall beautiful site but with an overall buggy experience. I flew probably 300 times in my life and your site, especially fly blue which I wanted to be member before I buy, is absolutely terrible!

Dynamic pricing of airline fares is the worst!!!!
Your dynamic pricing policies are very frustrating & poor consumer experience. Your prices were changing literally as I was trying to book the flight. As I was searching your site for flights, the price for the same flight was changing each time I search. I come back a day later and the original price I was trying to book is available again.
I love Air France as an airline, but the dynamic pricing that you and other airlines are now using may make you more money, but it is the absolute worse consumer experience.

I applied for a refund within 24 hours of my booking due to an error in dates. The overview on the website says that my refund was processed. Nothing has appeared in my account. I have called customer service four times, only to be told to call different departments and/or refer back to the website. There is nothing on the website that addresses this issue, and apparently nobody in customer service will either. One agent I spoke to even said, "Too bad, I wish I had your problems".

Unable to access my AF/Flying Blue account. My pre-existing one used in 2022 and accessed just 5 months ago seems to have disappeared (system says no record of e-mail or FB number). When I tried to create a new one, the system struggled, could not send an access code, and then said that e-mail was already in use and refused. So I had to book flights without being able to sign in. I am not very happy about all the wasted time and I still do not have my old or new number accessible.

Lost baggage
I was a business class traveler and my luggage never arrived at my destination. I was unable to file a claim online because the website kept retuning me to the homepage. When I engaged over AF’s social media to file a complaint, the person couldn’t answer basic general questions. Also, on the document o received when I filed the complaint, it said the phone line was open til 22:00. When I called at 19:00, the AF recording said the office was closed.

I was on our your site one week ago and unfortunately - one week later and no one has followed up with me. I sent in a compliant that our site would not let me book from my flights from Ottawa to Paris because - the seats map would not load - very poor site and now more than one week later - no one has got back to me. I have attached the price that was listed when your site would not let me complete the booking. I expect compensation.

Return flight date does not show on a calendar if there are no flights a day before and after

I had to book this ticket I already had one with a return ticket of 25th August which I want to cancel but I cant because I will loose all of 2000 dollars. The ticket is not refundable at all. I was not even recognized, wanted to upgrade on my second leg of flight and there was zero incentive despite my loyalty to Airfrance and Sky Team.
I also suggest that Platinum Sky Team Members be given complimentary In-flight Wifi .. this is already done with Gold and Business Star Alliance Members

Links on website do not work
A number of links on the English and French language website do not work at all especially all things related to the Seniors Pass. It seems this pass does not exist, so any mention of it NEEDS to be removed asap.
I questioned AF staff about the pass but they had close to no information available about it. All this is quite annoying.
