I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Easy to use site

A very good, intuitive and easy to use website. The only suggestion I would have is that the date of the selected flights should ALWAYS be displayed prominently — even on secondary or tertiary levels of detail. I appreciate the prompts and step-by-step levels for the completion of all the post-purchase information requirements.

Booking Paris to Atlanta

Booking the flight was a breeze, the only negative was that I was unable to choose seats prior to purchasing the flight. Previously I had gone through the booking process as a paid fare and was able to see which seats were available, but when I booked on points (with some money), I had no option to choose or even see seats.

Thought all representatives very helpful ,but found getting tickets through the website a little frustrating. Every time I pursued the more information option ,I couldn’t get back to what I already filled out .Finally on the third attempt and without pressing any more information options ,I was able to secure tickets

Accuracy matters

The agent initially booked the incorrect date which was discovered when I'm about to finalize and reserve. Called again to ensure the correct date was booked and reserved. Unfortunately, this little mistake caused me to transfer more points than needed. Oh well, these points can be used on the next trips i supposed.

Economy plus was too expensive to consider. The flight was fine though as it was with an airbus - Boeings pack people like sardines in coach. Maybe a greater selection of meals would add a little something to A.F. flight attendants were really nice and much better put together than US stewards and stewardesses.

Easy enough to book my flight but: 1. couldn’t get a seat choice on the code share flight via Delta on return. Your website directs me to Delta and Delta back to yours. 2. Created a password but your app wd not let me login. Using password the rotating arrow where the continue button shd be just kept rotating.

Disappointed in Upgrading Seats at time of Purchase

I am waiting to see if our seats will be upgraded from Premium Comfort to Business Class with miles before giving a complete rating. I was surprised to be informed after purchasing our tickets, that we have to wait until only weeks before traveling before knowing if seats in Business Class are available to us.

Liked the connecting flights availability What can be done better 1. luggage handling - twice they spoiled our luggage. What we got in return as reimbursement was not even half of what we have ended up paying for the new ones 2. food especially vegetarian options could be a lot better on international flights

On time dependable. Priced generally moderate. Good service. Comfortable seats. Not 5 stars because toilets have been very poorly supplied and kept clean. Also the food is not at all to my taste and has not been changed in 4 years that I have been frequently flying. Movies could use an upgrade too.

My frequent Flights have been on time and service is friendly and welcoming. Food can always be improved as can cleanliness of bathrooms and seat areas. Luggage retrieval at CDG needs to be faster. I have flown AF for the last 40 years, with a minimum of 2 rountrips per year and as many as 5-6.

I made selections for seats and food service and I'm unsure if they actually were accepted. I received red alert messages that they weren't but then my electronic ticket appears to have the selections captured. Just confusing messages. But the website was easy to navigate in selecting flights.

I had a good experience but gave 4 stars because I didn’t receive any receipt after the purchase of the ticket while there was a good amount of difference between the price I saw and the price charged. I don’t mind but I would’ve loved to at least understand where the difference came from.

Website was a little difficult to navigate. I was not able to select the return flight I wanted and the transaction didn't go thru. I had to rebook the entire trip again and select a different return flight. Flight prices were very good and the layover times are not excessively long.

It wasn’t the site’s fault, but I had found an attractive promotional fare that disappeared before I could complete the purchase, only to reappear an hour later As for the site, it’s easy to use, but it doublechecks a lot of entries, such as seat selection, which makes it slow.

Planning a multi-city trip

We are planning a multi-city trip. It was relatively easy to find the different available flights for the times and locations we needed. It was not very easy to go back and forth between seat service level for the different legs of the trip, to check possible pricing options.

Website is a little slow, and needs frequent logins even if I choose “remember me”. One of my itineraries has been cancelled already by the airline, but it still shows up in my trips - sort of a cruel reminder. Please fix this so cancelled trips don’t show up as upcoming trips.

It’s pretty easy to navigate around the site. Good, not great. But, it would be nice if I could see the available seats before I booked. Often, seat availability means more than particular flights. In addition, I suggest you make it easier to find the plan map layouts.

most of the site worked ok. But data that had previously been saved was not there. Also changing the date for flights from one day to another required going totally out of the site and then back in. Previously, you could the prices for all days of a particular week.

Love Air France, but it was somewhat difficult using the web site to cancel the "flex" flight that the one you are asking about replaces. Still don't know if the refund will come through ok, since confirming emails only arrived for two of the three cancelled tickets.

Your website does not work with password manager software like 1Password. It’s tedious to have to enter login info by hand. In addition your website does not support auto form filling for data like addresses and credit card info. Slows the process down considerably
