Provide more and more detailed FAQ for travellers/customers who are not regular flyers especially seniors. Many seniors no longer have or can earn enough Miles in 18 months to make flight purchases with Miles. What options are there to use these Miles otherwise? Make clear the limitations and exclusions of Promo Fares, such as lack of Multi-city option with Purchase by Miles. Give cash customers more incentives and afforable upgrade options. The Air France Flying Blue website allows for many errors in data after entering, such as not making travel companion/Flying Blue Family Member data available in the Passenger Detail screen (I had to type in the data), and then in the Travel Documents page the system put my Family Member's Passport Details and not mine from my profile. I had to add a new passport and enter my own Passport Details and then in my Family Member's profile I had to add a new passport and enter his Passport Details all over again. This makes it easy for Passport information errors to occur. I also had difficulty transferring Flying Blue Miles while logged into Air France. Instead searched Reddit for answer to get around the "Low-assurance..." message and logged into KLM website, accessed Flying Blue profile and successfully transferred the Miles from within that website. Air France should provide a fix or workaround on their website.

I was booking a ticket and I also had a voucher that I wanted to use for the booking. Every time I try to process the ticket, The voucher did not work. So I would have to start the whole process again of booking a new ticket and during that time there was always a price increase from the previous time had tried. To keep on paying for a higher price, I decided to just purchase the ticket in the hope that Air France will owner my voucher. This is the same voucher that Air France issued to me as a birthday gift. This is the same voucher that I was going to use Wele with the stipulated booking and the stipulated time of travel. Yesterday morning I spoke to an Air France advisor by the name of who promised to look into the matter regarding my voucher and the ticket reference PHSTCT and get back to me, sh has not and lied to me . She was to follow up and ensure that AIr France applied the $70 gift voucher to ticket so that I don’t have to get another voucher to purchase another ticket for another trip. I really want that voucher to be applied on the ticket. this voucher is valid and still within the guidelines that I should use before the 7th of September 2024 and to travel before the 1 st of June 2025. The backstory is that I purchased the ticket on Air France and this is the booking reference PHSTCT. I had a voucher code BDCAJUNAVW and wanted to use that voucher in my booking, but for some reason, it was not able to go through . Now given that I didn’t want to loose the ticket and the price kept increasing, I went ahead and booked it in the hope that Air France can honour the gift voucher which was still valid as of today. This is not going to be honoured then I will cancel my ticket and I will not want to travel with Air France again because I don’t want there technical error and essentially a mistake that was not caused by me to affect me.

Awful website. When I booked I was provided A booking reference ‘number’ the 6 character code. In proceeding with my booking the code changed making me wonder if I had two bookings. Why? When I picked seats and saved them they did not show up as booked. I was panicking that I had two bookings. Tickets sent by email did not show seats. Back to the drawing board. I signed up for your frequent flyer program but not “bluebiz”. Yet I needed to enter a bluebiz number to proceed at one point. Madness. I called customer service where agent stated that the pdf tickets necer display seat numbers. The agent also said the forst booking reference number was only “temporary.” What a way to confuse customers who are only trying to methodically book a simple seat on a flight. What a mess. What an awful website and booking process.

Cacelation Policy. We books ticket from Ottawa to Vadodara. I and my husband booked round trip seperatly. There was connecting flight from Delhi to Vadodara. Anyhow that got canceled and my husband got an email. While I never got an email and when we call in support they cancelled entire trip of ours stating that it is their policy. We spent somn 6000 dollar and we had to book another trip with another 6000 dollar. They should have booked that end flight instead of canceling our entire round trip flight. Your voucher policy is also not so helping. Like when we really need that money we can't get it instantly. If you cancel our flight you must issue vouchers so that we can book it.

fluctuating price

While booking a flight ticket, I selected business class (around $1650 at the time). However, the price suddenly changed and tripled when I was about to pay. I was shocked by the unexpected price increase. My friend, who was sitting right next to me, successfully booked business class for around $1650. However, two minutes later, when I tried to make the payment, the price for business class had tripled, and all prices suddenly increased. In the end, I had to book premium economy for around $1800. You guys are a complete mess. I’m never flying with Air France again.

Advertised prices on website not honoured

Your website showed available flight options under all ticket categories and yet it would not allow me to book the ticket I wanted. When I asked through online chat and call centre they said the fare was not available. For more than 24 hours and repeat searches the fare showed as available on the website. This is misleading, it is unacceptable that your employees cannot honour the online price shown as available, and irresponsible to not remove sold out fares from the website if they are in fact sold out.

Representative had Little knowleyor patience

When I called again the representative told me that I had to pay again and sent me a link saying I had 6 hours to pay and hung up. I called Visa about the charge and then called back AF and this time the rep said to ignore the link that I had received and all they needed was my credit card number. The first rep was not very nice nor well informed. It caused me a lot of stress.

Worst service on AF from Vancouver to Paris. Staff didn’t pay attention to passenger's needs, no acknowledgement. Crew members will never come to your seat even after turning crew call on. I hope they will take this into consideration to improve their standard.
