My order was returned to bike-discount by DHL without any reasons (delivery in Switzerland). I called Bike-discount and they offered me to either reimburse me or send it again free of charge. I called a few times to have updates and everything I could talk to someone who replied to my questions. They also replied to my emails within 2 days. Overall, it took a little bit of time (quite normal during the end of the year holiday season). My order finally arrived and I'm very happy with it. If you're not in a hurry, you can order on bike-discount.
Order some bike parts/tools in 7.05.2024 and received the order on 14.05.2024 with missing item inside, so I refuse the order and contact the seller(bike-discount.de) until 28.05 they did nothing to refund the money or to resolve the problem.
First time in 9 years of orders from this webshop.
Beware of this, if IT happens to you, never refuse the order because you will lose money and the remaining items from the order.

Dear customer, thank you for your feedback. Due to the considerable price differences in the various EU countries, we cannot treat every country equally when it comes to return shipping costs. In our webshop we inform you transparently in several places about the assumption of the return costs. In the case of justified complaints, we will of course cover the full shipping costs, regardless of the country. We ask for your understanding!

Risky multi-purchases
This is not my first order with this shop.
In order to lower overall shipping cost I decided to buy few items in one parcel. One of the items that arrived was wrongly labelled by BikeDiscount (other size than I have ordered).
I have instantly written to the shop and asked they send me the correct item I have ordered.
The support response time was very reasonable.
I have been given a label to send the wrong item back, but instead sending me the initially ordered (correct) item, BikeDiscount went more comfortable route for them - they have just refunded me the cost of the returned item and closed the case.
In the end I had to order it somewhere else and pay the shipping cost twice. I think they could have resolved the issue they have caused better than this - especially when a customer requested that and the whole issue wasn't my fault. Be aware of this when placing a multi purchase with this shop.

Poor bike assembly
Bike shipping was fast and it was well protected.
However, bike assembly qualty was unacceptable:
- steerer tube was too long - top cap rested on the steerer itself instead of stem/spacer which made headset bearing adjustment impossible
- bottom bracket was not fully pressed into the frame - one of the cups was skewed which resulted in high crankset drag
- cables are way too long
- gears were not properly adjusted
- inner tubes were twisted inside tires...
This was definitely not ride-ready bike and the loose headset was just dangerous. Bike required some significant effort to fix all the issues.

I ordered a product (a frame), but it was dented at the headset so completely useless and had serious problems with the paint. I returned it and received a new one without any excuses or whatsoever. In the mean while the sales price of that frame dropped between ordering and returning (1 week). And even when gently asking it was very clear (read: unfriendly) that there was no discussion possible. Very sad (and shameful) for a company claiming to offer the lowest price.

Ordered a pair of dt swiss wheels. Received 4 days after normal shipping length. The package was damaged and the wheels hubs caps were damaged. They proposed me to send back the wheels by myself or give me a 15€ voucher to compensate. Did not want to faf any more with this website and fixed the wheels by myself for 30€. In the end I payed almost the same price as in other closer online shops. Will not order again.

The wheels I received were damaged during transportation. I first noticed the damaged front wheel, but instead of accepting a claim I was offered a spare part and a minor compensation.
When checking the front wheel it was damaged too. But since I was already tired and kind of upset from the first chat, I didn’t contact them again.
Not satisfied and I will think twice before I order from Bikediscount again.

The amount was deducted three weeks before shipping. And customer service doesn’t respond to eMails. Tracking link doesn’t work either. Hope the Bike will arrive eventually.

OK until you have a problem with your order - service non existent
Good points were price and delivery. But an item was missing from my order - a quick release from a wheelset. I raised two requests for help on the website which have been totally ignored. I also called and spoke to customer service and although they were helpful on the phone no action resulted from their fine words.
So if you buy from them just hope that nothing goes wrong.

Schönes Bike aber…
Hab mir seit langer Zeit mal wieder ein Fahrrad zugelegt.
Lieferzeit ca. 3 Wochen wie angegeben.
Verpackung/Lieferung super.
Leider habe ich mega Probleme mit der Schaltung diese springt und hakt, grade bergauf habe ich schon echt geflucht, wenn die Pedale auf einmal nen sprung machen.
Hätte erwartet das ich an einen neuen Fahrrad erstmal nicht Hand anlegen muss.

complicated delivery
problem with transport. it was not delivered to DHL as stated, but it was sold to Czech Post. Czech Post is the worst delivery company. The price of transport was too high for the quality of this service. please do not entrust all parcels to the Czech post office! deliver by courier to the client like other German e-shops.

We are working on offering transport with "DHL Express" in the future. However, this is a different shipping method. With this shipping method, the parcel is transported to the customer by "DHL Express". This is not the case with "DHL Paket", as described above.

II ordered MTB jersey that was described in their site as with integrated elbow protection pads. This was the reason I bought this jersey and as it arrived, there were no such pads in this model. Faulty description in their site that led to an unwanted purchase from my side.

Great offering but not free returns
I've been very satisfied with the shop earlier. I've bought over 1000 euros worth of items from them. But, now I discovered that they don't provide free returns. Customer needs to pay for shipping both ways which is unfair.

I received a bike winter tyre with a metal stud missing. They won't send me a stud with installation tool. Only option is to send the tyre back and order a new one and pay for another delivery costs 15€.
